Chloe stepped closer, her cheeks glowing bright pink.
Chloe: "Uh… Subash, I want to tell you something."
Subash turned toward her with a calm smile. Seeing him look at her, Chloe's cheeks turned even redder. Subash tilted his head in confusion.
Subash: "Hey, are you okay? Your cheeks… they're turning pink."
He gently placed his hand on her forehead.
Subash: "So? What did you want to say? I'll listen."
His voice was surprisingly gentle.
Chloe swallowed hard.
Chloe: "You… you see, I… I've begun to feel in love with you."
Her face turned completely red. She turned away, ready to fly off—but Subash grabbed her hand.
She stopped and looked back at him. His face was slightly blushing too, giving her a spark of hope.
Subash: "Well… I don't really understand human feelings, but one thing is clear. You, Chloe… I have also loved you."
His face reddened, though he quickly calmed himself.
Chloe stared at him, her cheeks glowing pink. Then Subash stepped closer and gently kissed her lips. And in the next moment—he vanished, as if he didn't exist.
Chloe froze, her face blazing.
(Did… did he just kiss me on the lips without permission?)
Her hand rose to her lips, a smile forming.
(That means that idiot is mine from this moment.)
With a happy smile, she turned and flew back toward the Nova Nation, leaving behind the battlefield where Draven and Ashura had fought.
---
Meanwhile, Subash was in his office, face still completely red.
(Calm down, Subash, calm down. This is normal… humans kiss the ones they love. There's nothing wrong. Right?)
He forced himself to work, but then sensed something unusual.
(Interesting… someone is quietly watching me. But I can't find their location. It feels like… they're in another dimension.)
Just as he tried to track the presence, Chloe suddenly teleported into the room. Their eyes met. The room fell silent.
---
Far away, in a different dimension—known as the Demon Realm—the Red Primordial watched Subash with a smirk.
Red: "Kukukuku… interesting. To think Black would become this powerful after receiving a name. And that person, Subash… he sensed me watching him. This is going to be… entertaining."
He closed the crystal ball that allowed him to observe through dimensions.
The Red Primordial leaned back on his throne.
(From the beginning of the universe, we Primordial Demons ruled the Demon Realm. We fought endlessly for power… until everything changed.)
A small smirk tugged at his lips.
---
At the dawn of creation, the Primordial Demons were born from the concept of darkness—the counterparts of the Primordial Angels. Demons waged endless battle across the Demon Realm, each seeking to rule and become the strongest.
Among them was the Red Primordial Demon, firstborn of the Primordials, Lord of Darkness. He was the strongest among the six Primordials. Two of them even became his servants after losing battles to him. Yet even then, Red sought new challenges.
Red: "Man, this is so boring."
He floated above a destroyed landscape, watching demons fight endlessly. He sighed.
Red: "There's no one left in the Demon Realm who can actually entertain me… but I heard there's another Primordial Demon—the Black—who defeated all others. I'd like to fight him."
A smirk crept onto his face as he flew toward Black's territory.
As he approached, he noticed demons with black wings and black hair fighting below.
Red: "So his family is small, huh."
The moment he entered the territory, a flash of dark light appeared before him. The Black Primordial Demon stood there.
Black: "Red Primordial. What are you doing here? As I recall, no Primordial is allowed to enter another's territory without permission."
His voice was cold, his dark aura surging. Red only smirked.
---
Red: That day, I fought the greatest battle of my entire life. Black pushed me to my very limit… but in the end, I won—and evolved into something higher.
His crimson eyes glowed. A bright crimson magic circle formed beneath him.
He smirked—cold and confident.
