Chloe had spent a few days living in the Nova Nation now, and her thoughts wandered as she walked through the streets.
Chloe (thought): It's been a few days since I started living here… and the people are so kind. They treat me the same way they treat Subash.
Monsters along the road greeted her with warm smiles. Chloe returned the gesture with a gentle smile of her own. She had begun to love this nation—its peace, its people, its atmosphere.
While walking, she came across Velmora and Ravena, who were arguing intensely.
Velmora: "I'm telling you, I'm stronger than you!"
Ravena glared at her, equally frustrated. Chloe approached them calmly.
Chloe: "Why are you two fighting?"
Both demons immediately straightened and bowed slightly.
Velmora: "It's nothing, Chloe-sama. We were just arguing about who's stronger."
Chloe raised a brow.
Chloe: "Then why don't you two simply fight and find out?"
Both of them looked away awkwardly. Chloe stared, confused.
Ravena: "Well… we're at the same level. We're both strong. Whenever we fight, it ends in a draw. It's normal for us to argue."
Chloe nodded.
Chloe: "Same level, huh? Interesting. But that changes when you compare yourselves to a higher being—like a True Dragon."
Both demons froze.
Velmora: "What do you mean by that, Chloe-sama?"
Chloe: "True Dragons are the strongest race in all creation. Even if your levels match, you won't be able to defeat a True Dragon."
Velmora and Ravena swallowed hard, remembering the battle from a few days ago. Chloe walked away as they resumed their bickering.

Meanwhile, Subash sat in his office, looking painfully bored.
Subash: "Man… being a leader is so boring. So much work…"
Lilithra giggled softly.
Lilithra: "Leadership is hard, Subash-sama. But not impossible. You finish paperwork in just a few hours anyway. Just read things carefully before signing."
Subash nodded, sighing internally.
Subash (thought): Since the battle with Chloe, I broke through to level 91… and my true body returned to my stomach dimension. It's even more spacious now.
Lilithra left him alone. Subash continued working swiftly.
---
Chloe was walking toward the office.
Chloe (thought): It's been days since I arrived… yet not once have I felt lonely. Back in the heavenly realm, my brother was always busy. He barely spent time with me. But here… even though I came as an enemy, they treat me like family…
She opened the door. Subash stopped writing and looked up with a soft smile. Chloe's heart skipped—her cheeks tinted pink.
Chloe (thought): Why… why am I feeling like this? My heart is beating so fast when I look at him…
Subash didn't notice, still smiling calmly.
Subash: "So, what brings you here, Chloe?"
Chloe: "I… don't know. I was just walking around and suddenly found myself here."
Subash nodded with an amused smile.
Subash: "You came without realizing? Interesting. In the human world, I learned something about emotions—when someone loves another, their body acts on its own. They naturally go near the person they love."
Chloe instantly flung an ice sword at him. He caught it effortlessly.
Chloe: "Me? In love with a low-level dragon like you? Never!"
She looked away to hide her blush. Subash smirked.
Subash: "Hahaha. I know, I know. But I'm too handsome to worry about love. My whole nation loves me anyway."
Chloe teleported away silently. Subash sat there, expression calm.
Subash (thought): Even after hundreds of years, I still don't understand love… but one thing is clear. I've fallen in love with her. Whenever I see her, it feels good… too good. I don't even know why.
He returned to his work.
---
Chloe teleported to a mountain overlooking the Nova Nation. Her cheeks were bright pink, hand pressed to her chest.
Chloe (thought): Tch… what does that lowly dragon think of himself? Me, a True Dragon, falling in love? Impossible.
Yet her expression softened as she gazed toward Subash's office at the center of the town.
Chloe (thought): But… everything he said about human feelings… I feel the exact same. My eyes always search for him. Is this… really love? But we've only known each other for a few days…
Her glowing eyes betrayed her confusion—and something deeper she was only beginning to understand.
