Today is the Albert and Lucine make their official debut in high society. Albert got ready in his usual tuxedo and other noble attire and made sure to put on his gloves.
"Ok, time for my debut in high society, this is when the noble children mingle together before their entrance into the academy, I must make sure who can be a liability, and who could be an enemy." Albert told himself in the mirror, he was nervous, so he decided to tell himself what to do. Albert also decided to pack Nihil as well, since even with the gloves, he can never be too careful.
He exited the room and walked down the stairs, he saw Lucine there in an extravagant blue and black ballgown. She was smiling warmly as he walked down the stairs.
"Why good morning, Albert. Today's a big day for us. The whole world will know of our love." Lucine was crossing her legs and turned away as she talked.
"I know you've always been worried about me, but today, we don't need to worry. All you have to do, is have eyes for me only." Lucine's words made sense to Albert's heart. Although he can't guarantee that he will only have eyes for her, he still needs to look at the other guests, he has to make sure no one can harm them.
The carriage pulled over near the entrance, it has been so many years since Albert last saw that carriage. It was the very carriage that brought him here, to Lucine.
"Ok, get in the carriage. The debut is being held at the capital, so we have a long ride ahead of us." The Carriage driver said, it was the same man from the first time Albert rode in the carriage, he still looked as creepy as ever. While he was still caught off guard from thr man's unnerving appearance, Lucine grabbed him and walked him over to the carriage.
"Ok Lucine, sorry for being such a statue." Albert said, thankfully Lucine did giggle a little bit.
"Albert, please don't tell jokes when we are at the debut." Lucine wasn't asking, it sounded like she was warning. Albert was almost caught off guard by her sudden coldness, but he knew, his fiancee is simply looking out for his and her's reputation. Lucine leaned in Gave him a hug on the side, it was a warm and caring gesture. Albert and Lucine finally arrived at the where the debut was being held, the royal Assembly Building. Out of all the buildings in the Capital that aren't important to the game's plot, this was by far the most elaborate.
It was a tall, brown and gold building, with a total of 3 floors, it looked almost twice as large as the Nocturne mansion. It was quite impressive how grand it looks for an inaccessible building in the original game. And inside most young Nobles will be there, most of them are making their debut before they attend the academy for their first year, other few are 2nd and 3rd year students, wanting to introduce themselves to the younger nobles. Albert cleared his throat...
"Isn't the Capital such a grand city? It is truly the centerpiece of our kingdom. And in just 3 weeks, we will be living here in the academy. But we don't need to worry now, all we have to do is make our presence known, Lucine." Albert said, he tried to sound extra professional for this. He's been rehearsing all night, and it payed off, Lucine is looking up with him, sparkles in her eyes as she looked at him in awe.
"I never knew you were such a poet, Albert. Now then, shall we make our debut?" Lucine said, smiling. Albert nodded.
"Yes!" Albert replied, following Lucine as they walked inside.
Inside the building, it was a grand room, there were more than 100 young Nobles there, but Albert was looking for 3 specific people, Steven Calyx, Miriam Kroth, and Prince Kane. The reason Albert needed to find Steven was fairly obvious, he needed to check if he was still on his side, and to make sure his appearance is in line with his from the game.
Prince Kane is the crown prince of the kingdom, but that isn't the reason as to why Albert needs to find him. It's because he is one of the hardest capture targets to romance in Silver Feathers! In order to unlock his route, you need to have max affection with both Steven Calyx and his best friend, Arran Kladiks. But the payoff is immense, he is an allrounder with very large offensive and defensive stats, his unique skill Buster allows him to be a master fighter in combat and can shrug off tier 3 or lower magic spells like its nothing, but it leaves him unable to use magic himself. Albert believes that if he can have both Steven and Kane on his side, he could easily hook them up with the heroine.
Miriam Kroth however is possibly the most important person to his plan. She is what you could call, a best friend character, and his second favorite character in the game. She will be easy to spot out, she has short hair, with black and white stripes that make it seem like it spirals. The reason for his desire to acquire her allegiance is that she will be used as essentially a telephone line between him and the heroine's progress, also due to her similar behavior to the heroine, she can act as a Plan B. But first he had to find Steven, and right on cue, he found him, flirting with 2 noble women.
"And that's when I said- Ah, there you are Albert. I would like you to meet my best friend Albert, ladies." The 2 Nobles giggled. Albert didn't see them as a useful asset, but he could use this as a reference for Steven's current romantic skills. Judging by the women's expressions were overall a mix between nervousness, amusement, and arousal. He was about to speak, but Lucine interrupted.
"Ahem, Steven. I don't want to seem like such a brat but these 2 young ladies are the illegitimate daughters of a recently deceased baron. Not to complain or anything." Steven frowned and let the women go. Albert concluded that this reaction is due to tastes, and the fact that Steven himself is, as the game says in his lore. 'Views noble women who are daughters of barons as pests, although he only expresses this disgust in a form of intimidation and avoidance.'
"So how have you been doing Steven?" Albert asked, watching as the women scurry away.
"I've been doing good, my swordsmanship has improved greatly, I think we should spar sometimes." Steven said with confidence. Albert realized he got caught up in the conversation, he needed to find Miriam or Kane, although he had the time, the debut ends at 12:30 AM, and it is already 2 P.M.
"Lucine, I don't need you to worry about me, I need to show these other nobles how great we are." Lucine grabbed his wrist with surprising force as she turned to him slowly, her mouth slowly forming a weirdly terrifying smile.
"You don't need to leave me... We're engaged, remember?" Lucine was actually starting to terrify him. Albert realized this was probably since Lucine was still nervous to be by herself.
"Steven will protect you. I will be fine." Albert tried to pull away from Lucine's grip, and eventually it softened.
"Ok fine, I will allow you to mingle with the others. But please, don't allow yourself to get fucking seduced, I'd watch your back if I were you if you were." Lucine said, letting it go. And off Albert went to find his targets.
As Albert walked around the giant room, he noticed that a few nobles were glancing at him. He could even hear their whispers.
"Is that Albert Luddovan?"
"I heard he's engaged to Duke Nocturne's daughter, lucky."
"I can see his muscles in his shoulders. They're so pronounced."
Albert brush the comments off, most of these nobles are just mobs in the game anyways. He only recognized a few, though he didn't spot the 2 he was looking for. Albert decided he needed some help.
"Blue Flaming Observer." He Whispered as he pointed to the chandelier in the middle of the ceiling. And a large blue light emanated from it. Flaming observer is a tier 1 spell that creates essentially a weak fire spirit, it lasts for 10 minutes and you can tell it to find something specific and when it finds something, it will shine an orange light on it.
Blue Flaming observer however, lasts for 3 hours and is blue instead. It is a tier 2 spell. It might take a while, so he has to just pass the time. Albert though that maybe he should head back to Lucine and Steven, but he was stopped by a blonde girl, she was clearly the daughter of a marquis, she was wearing a golden choker with the emblem of house Vis, one of the 5 Marquis houses. Her golden hair was curled doen, and then upwards, like she was wearing a crown, with red, heart shaped tips at the end. She was wearing a desire-red dress, it was possibly the most decorated outfit in the room, it was bedazzled with various gems. And it clung onto her skin tightly and had a black triangle on its waist, the Dress had a window, revealing her cleavage. Albert noticed her tits were even bigger than Lucine's!
"Hey pretty boy. Albert?" She said, taking a step towards him. He could tell this lady didn't intend for a simple introduction.
"My name is Klarice, Klarice Vis." Albert was staring into Klarice's eyes, they were wide as he squinted.

It seemed like Albert has no choice but to agree since it appears he doesn't have a choice to say no, but then a light shined from the chandelier onto one of the guests. It appears that one of his targets was found. In a burst of motivated strength he broke free from Klarice's grip and sternly told her.
