Albert was in the cafeteria, it was still the first day of the academy. He was waiting there for about half an hour. What was taking Miriam so long? He thought. She just had to find the heroine (Lilac), even Steven arrived 10 minutes earlier.
"So, who are we waiting for?" Steven asked. Albert took a deep breath and stomped his foot.
"A friend of mine, something tells me you might win a woman!" Albert said, faux cheerfulness in his voice and face. Steven lit up at that, he grinned.
"Oh. How great. I bet the woman I will meet will be even better than Lucine!" Albert cringed at Steven's dialogue. In the game he always got his hopes up whenever he got an opportunity to one up the other capture targets. But here, he wants to one-up Albert.
"We don't have a crown princess yet, and the other 3 young noble ladies of Lucine's status are too beautiful to interract with." Albert assured.
"Well, where is my woman!?" Steven yelled, agitated. Albert couldn't have his best friend (asset) be so irritable. He just needs to keep him calm for a little longer.
Thankfully, about two minutes later, Miriam rushed in, and aside her was a nice looking, blue-eyed, Pink haired woman with twindrills that have orange stripes. This must be her, the heroine of the story, Lilac.
"Steven, this is Viscountess Miriam Kroth-san, my senior, and this is Lilac, the commoner who scored top in the entrance exam." Steven looked at Miriam with a sultry grin. But Albert interrupted.
"Steven, would you like to take Lilac?" Albert Asked. Steven gagged, before laughing.
"AHAHAHAHA!! Albert you are so funny. Me, dating a commoner! Best joke ever!" Steven said as he walked out of the room.
"Shit, well that failed." Albert said, slamming his hand on the cafeteria table with enough force to cause a small dent. Lilac looked st him with a mix of timidness and confusion.
"Um, um, hello Mr. Albert, I am L-L-Lilac Amarayllis, it is n-n-n-nice to meet you. I hope we can be good friends?" She said, her voice is so soft and sweet as she shakes, her skin is pale.
"Ok, nice to meet you too Lilac. Tell me, are you interested in dating someone?" Albert asked. He needs to know what type of guy Lilac likes in order to figure out which capture target to pair her up with.
"I don't know." Lilac replied, still audibly confused. Albert groaned. He needs to find a way to open a romance flag between her and one of the capture targets.
"I think Steven would be a good pick for you. Won't you agree?" He asked. Lilac shrugged
"Maybe, but I'm not concerned with falling in love now. I'm more concerned about the reason as to why you wanted too see me." Lilac's voice was trembling. Albert figured she was clearly intimidated by him. Makes sense, he does look tough.
"The reason I called you was simple, my friend Steven is nice, but his personality might drive women away, I figure you can handle him. Is that clear?" Albert explained. Lilac seemed to understand the simple explanation he gave. But then looked puzzled.
"He doesn't seem to like the idea of building a relationship with me. Why would you try to get me to date him? There are plenty of fine girls here, and those are actually Nobles. I'm just a commoner who got good grades." Lilac looked down, as if she realized that she doesn't belong here. Albert patted her head.
"Well, you are smart. Steven is strong but dumber. I bet you two would balance eachother out." Albert said. Lilac looked up at him, her face is cute, no wonder she is the heroine.
"Ok, I'll try. But, I'm still not sure why you chose me to be with Steven." Lilac affirmed, trying (but failing) to sound brave. Albert smiled and walked away. Leaving Lilac to be with Miriam.
Albert walked into the headmaster's office, where he was waiting. Albert knew what he came for.
"Hello, headmaster, may I look at the student files?" Albert wasn't expecting this to work, but he knows what he is capable of. He seen what shit this old man can do. So he needs to make sure that he either has permission or doesn't.
"Sure, but you can only look at their names and images and titles." The Headmaster replied. Albert was in shock, it couldn't be this easy. But it was. And he grinned as he looked through the entire catalog, he needs to know each students name, their title, if they are relatives of any important character.

Lucine was walking in the hallway, looking for Albert, she wanted to see if he's ok. And more importantly to see if no girl was trying to claim him, while walking she spotted 2 girls, one with Checkered colored hair, and one with pink twindrills.
"Hello fine ladies, have you seen someone? His name is Albert Luddovan." Lucine asked them, the pink haired girl flinched as the checker haired girl spoke up.
"Yeah, he is my roommate. My name is Miriam Kroth. And this is Lilac Amarayllis." Lucine tried to force a smile. She didn't know Albert's roommate was a girl. She tried to keep her composure as Miriam continued.
"Dont worry, we aren't in a romantic relationship. In fact I'm more intimidated by him more than anything." Lucine's face softened. She was relieved that this girl wasn't in love with Albert, she just needs to check with the other girl, Lilac.
"And what about you... Lilac was it? What is your relationship with Albert?" Lucine asked, leaning down to get a good look at her face. To make sure she isn't lying.
"Uh uh uh, I I am not in love with Al-a-al-al-b-b-bert. In fact, he wants me to be in love with someone else. Isn't that sweet?" Lilac's face was the image of terror and vulnerability. She definitely wasn't lying. Lucine was happy, she didn't have to worry about those two, but that last part made her slightly confused.
"Albert wants you to be in love with someone else? How so, and with who?" Lucine questioned, Lilac immediately answered.
"With some guy named Steven." Lilac blurted out, before leaning down and hyperventilating
"Ah, Steven Calyx. Albert's best friend. It appears Albert is more concerned for his friend's future than other things. Such a selfless man. Anyways I just realized, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Lucine Nocturne, and I am Albert's fiancee." Lucine was calm now. Lilac and Miriam's faces softened as the conflict resolved.
"Oh well that's good, I have to go back to my room, I just met a nice guy named Arran. He's my roommate!" Lilac said, smiling lightly. Lucine walked past them.
"Such amusing girls." She thought.

The next day...
Albert met up with Steven and the rest of his class outside in the courtyard. Albert is familiar with this event, although he was caught off guard. He was unaware that his class would experience it much sooner than the heroine's class.
"Ok students, this is your first field lesson. You will be put into random groups of 3 and you will be sent into the forest. Your goal is to bring back 1 goblin corpse." Mr. Harrison explained. Albert was prepared, he is clutching Nihil, all he has to do is kill a goblin with whatever 2 people he has to be with.
"Ok class, I will now assign the random groups." Albert listened as the teacher assigned the groups of three. Then he heard his name. "...Albert, Klarice, and Sarabeth." Albert groaned, of course he has to deal with Klarice. Thankfully, he just has to kill a goblin.
From the information he got, he now knows the identities of the '4 queens of the school.' (Students who are the daughters of the 4 ducal families.). Sarabeth is one of them, she is the daughter of Duke Rokton, he remembered her from one of the dlcs of Silver Feathers. She is an abrasive girl with a long red ponytail, her uniform is entire red and is known for her impatience.
"Oh great." Albert sighed, he has to deal with a carnivore woman and an aggressive one.
