Lisa was happy. She had not been this happy in a long while, but as the door closed and left Lara outside, at the memory of the look on Lara's face when those bodyguards had dragged her away, Lisa felt as though she could fly.
Finally, she had a reason to get rid of Lara.
When Lisa had first heard about the accident, she had been so scared. Her first thought was that her one and only son was going to die.
But when the Doctor had walked out of the operating room to tell them that he had survived the surgery, Lisa had been so relieved.
The fact that Curtis was in a coma didn't bother her. She knew that he was going to be fine.
But what pleased her the most was the fact that Lisa had seen this as an opportunity to get rid of Lara.
Lisa knew that if she was able to stop Lara from seeing Curtis, if she was able to stop the gold digger from clawing her way into Curtis's hospital room, then it would be easier for her to separate them.
