Mei shook her head.
"How could that be? Doesn't this just prove you like me? Hehe, I've known it for a long time. Otis, you're really good at treating people gently, and you always smell so nice."
She giggled foolishly, then suddenly remembered something.
"Wait, Otis, I just remembered, you didn't wash your hands. You were playing basketball, your hands must be covered in sweat and dirt! And you touched my face like that, aren't you being too much?!"
She grabbed Otis's hand.
"I even put on makeup for you today! And you treat me like this?"
She flicked his hand away and wiped her face with a tissue in exaggerated disgust, then sighed dramatically.
"Baby, are we going home?"
Otis pulled his hand back, took the tissue from her, and asked,
"And you? What do you want to do?"
They returned home.
Mei still didn't tell Otis what she planned to do. She was hesitating at that crossroads.
Making a decision was difficult, especially a decision that required breaking the usual rules.
