"...And you trust your instincts?" He managed to ask, his voice rough with strain.

"They've never been wrong. Looks like we're here," he said as his eyes looked up.
Kenneth followed his line of sight and paused as he saw the large establishment in front of them. It read: Chez Maude in bold cursive lettering.
"The place you wanted to bring me to was a restaurant?"
Lucien nodded. "You probably didn't get to eat before leaving this morning, and all you had was a bag of trail mix from the Shuttle. You should get some proper food in your system." He said casually as he opened the restaurant door and gestured for him to go inside with a tilt of his head.
He stood there for a moment, his gaze flickering between the large sign, the tinted glass, the expensive-looking menu board at the side of the door and the man standing before him, looking like he wouldn't take no for an answer. As if it too wanted to head inside, his stomach grumbled.
