[Prepare for appraisal..]
Hayakawa suddenly felt his world change he was in a space inbetween dream and his reality, looking around, he saw a pure black void illuminated by thousands of bright stars. In these stars countless silver strings were woven a beautiful breathtaking view forming a myriad of constellations.
But Hayakawa did not have time to notice these things, as he was euphoric with so much adrenaline was in his body, and after losing so much blood after the fight that occurred, his mind was racing trying to understand what just happened
Yet, he was even more euphoric because of the memory he had recieved, it would be a Dormant memory of the fourth tier! Something like this would not have been possible for a normal Dreamer!
However, after settling down what he just saw, a beautiful familiar voice rang upon his ears, and he it finally clicked on his head, that his Nightmare had ended.
[You have recieved an Attribute.]
[You have recieved an Attribute.]]
[Your Attribute have been removed.]
[Your Attribute have evolved.]
'Huh?'
Hayakawa was genuinely confused, Attribute? What did it even mean? Quickly, he summoned his runes.
Name: Hayakawa
True Name: —
Rank: Aspirant
Soul Shards: [4/1000]
Before continuing, Haykawa grinned, after all, it was incredibly rare for a Aspirant to even kill a dormant monster, even more a dormant devil!
Attributes: [Vessel], [Soul Eater], [Spark of Divinity].
'What the..'
His Attributes had changed drastically, before, he only had 2 Attributes, but, the [Poet] Attribute was nowhere to be seen.
'Wait, the Spell did say i lost an Attribute.. Was it that damn Heart?'
Yet, he didn't feel guilty, after all, he had recieved 2 Attributes in exchange! Hayakawa focused on the runes of the two Attributes to see its description:
[Vessel]
Description: [You are the last of your kind, as the vessel of the Devil, you are no longer human.]
[Soul Eater]
Description: [You can interact and eat souls to get stronger.]
That was.. A lot to digest.
First of all, the Vessel attribute was saying that he was no longer human, but what does the Spell even mean by that? Hayakawa did not know if that was a good or a bad change, yet, he did feel his body stronger, lighter and clearer after what he did in the ruined temple.
So, clearing his mind, he put the blame of his better body on that Attribute, which Hayakawa did not would complain.
Second, the [Soul Eater] Attribute was the most interesting for him, soul damage was one of the most searched abilities in all of the world and it was incredibly rare, with just a handful of awakeneds being capable of doing such a thing.
But the second part of the Attribute he did not understand, eat souls?.. Was it talking about the soul shards?
But the thoughts lingered no more, after all, the Spell continued on the appraisal.
[Aspirant! Your Trial is over.]
[A poet was wandering through the sands of the endless desert of nightmares, encountering both divine and profane. The poet climbed the staircase to a long lost shrine used to imprison the heart of a Devil. The Poet used the heart to himself, and killed a profane abomination to free the chains of the Devil.]
[You have defeated a dormant devil, Devil's Remnant]
[You have freed the Devil's Heart.]
[You achieved a feat desirable of praises!]
[Final appraisal: Incredible! Your cowardice are really ineffable!]
Hayakawa thought the last part of it was unneccessary, but, who cares? he was already happy for even being alive amd surviving a dormant devil by himself.
Hayakawa, from seeing his achievements thought that, perhaps, his aspect would achieve at least Awakened, maybe even Ascended, which, from the average, was still higher.
However, the Spell did not stop there, the voice of the spell sang into Hayakawa's ears.
[Dreamer Hayakawa, recieve your boon!]
[You have been bestowed a True Name: Hero of Hell]
Hayakawa rubbed his eyes, and once again just to make sure that ehat he saw was what he though he saw, and fortunately, Hayakawa was not hallucinating, he had recieved a True Name! Not even some Transcendents had True Names!
And in his first nightmare to even begin with, Hayakawa was sure that true legends had True Names on the First Nightmare, but him? He had never even considered it!
Then, his brain clicked, the money! He was going to be rich! He did not need to sell his house for any money anymore.
[Your Aspect is ready to evolve. Evolve Aspect?]
'Who even asks this? Of course!'
Hayakawa made a sign of pray.
"Yes."
[Awakened Aspect Poet is evolving…]
[New Aspect acquired.]
[Aspect Rank: Sacred.]
Hayakawa dropped to his knees.
[Aspect Name: Devil's Vessel]
'Sa.. Sacred?!'
Hayakawa just couldn't believe what the Spell voice just said, not being able to hold his curiosity and stupefied face, he commanded the runes to be open.
But before he sees the runes describing his Aspect, he decided to look at his overall information, and what could have changed.
Aspect: [Devil's Vessel]
Rank: [Sacred]
Description: [On your source of life lays the Heart of the Devil.]
Innate Ability: [Hero of the Underworld]
Description: [When you lose the flames of desire in your soul, the Devil will consume your body.]
Hayakawa was blindly looking at the floating runes in front of his face, again, he rubbed his eyes twice to make sure that he wasn't hallucinating, and he wasn't! The floating runes describing the rank of his Aspect was still there!
Yet, that innate ability was, somewhat, sketchy. First of all, what did it mean 'lose the flames of desire? Did it meant dying?
'Why would i care that some devil would use my body after i die?'
Before Hayakawa could continue his monologue, the Spell continued with it's appraisal.
[The First Seal is broken.]
[Awakening dormant powers..]
Suddenly, Hayakawa felt something awaken inside himself, it was a warm energy coming from his own soul, it was something he had never ever felt before, a feeling like this could only be described as euphoric.
The energy filled every single fiber of his body, to his head to his toes, he felt something else entirely, not mundane anymore, a Dreamer.
'Finally..'
After some time passed around, the warm energy on his chest started to cool down, stopping the euphori sensation Hayakawa was feeling.
However, as he looked around, his vision doubled.
