I suddenly broke contact when a sharp pain from Ocello getting hit with the whip shocked me. Gasping for air, Gine held my hand and handed me a cup of water.
"What did you see?" he asked.
"Ocello and his fathers are alive, but Rayen is having one of her husbands torture them." I shook as tears ran down my face. I wanted to throw up, but I refused to let my worry eat me up.
"Cuau should have been able to get to Uchel's family house. Check on him and I can go to the caverns to meet him."
"Will you be okay?" I asked. Last time Gine had been in the caverns, he had almost died. Gine smiled at me and stood tall.
"I won't pretend that the thought of going back into the caverns doesn't affect me, but I have something more important to worry about now." Gine said. I nodded and touched Cuau's marriage mark.
At first, I couldn't tell where I was. Then I began to hear the whispers.
"This is stupid," I heard. I didn't recognized the voice, but it seemed that he was patrolling.
