For how long had he noticed her hair. For how long had he watched her hair and thought it looked good with her tan skin.
She wondered.
She liked to think that he hadn't been that observant.
But… what if he had been. At least, he had observed the colour of Arik's faint curls. And right now, he just stated that her hair was ginger and not just red.
No, he couldn't have been.
Because then that would mean that whatever was in the air that was making her do stupid things was affecting him too. That would mean that she wasn't the only one getting addicted to his responses, to his presence, to his interrogation, to this game of cat and mouse. It would mean that she wasn't in it alone.

Well, it would encourage her.
Fill her mind with silly thoughts of silly things.
The thoughts of Alpha Kalio filled her mind. Well, she knew how she had gotten into that situation with him.
Why would she even want the same thing to happen again?
