"Good morning, Miranda," Gideon greeted politely.
"Good morning," Miranda replied with a warm smile. Her gaze shifted to Summer. "And you must be Summer."
"Yes," Gideon confirmed, glancing at her.
"Hello, Summer." Miranda extended her hand gracefully. "I've been looking forward to meeting you."
Summer blinked in surprise. She hadn't expected Miranda even to know her name.
"It's… it's an honor," she said, shaking her hand, still dazed.
"Please, come in," Miranda invited.
They stepped inside, and Miranda guided them to the living area. "Make yourselves comfortable." She poured glasses of water and handed them over.
Summer accepted hers. "Thank you."
She looked at Miranda, unable to contain her excitement.
"I can't believe I'm actually meeting you. I've followed your work for years. I've admired your craftsmanship, your creativity…" The words tumbled out in a rush.
