He barely heard her. All Gideon could see was her flawless, unguarded beauty.
Gideon's thoughts betrayed him before he could rein them in. The sight of her standing there only in his shirt, so close, sent his imagination spiraling out of control.
He imagined himself closing the distance between them, his arms encircling her waist as he bent to her, kissing her until she forgot how to breathe. He couldn't stop thinking about her soft, warm body against his, the way she would fit so perfectly against him, the quiet sounds she would make.
