Stretching her arms out, Haley felt her back pop in a satisfying manner, and she let out a relieved sigh.
Only once done did she look back over at her husband, who was sitting close by, his back to the couch, a cushion on his lap.
If anything she would have thought that he would be using the cushion to sit on. But he seemed comfortable as he was, so Haley went back to stretching a bit more.
"Are we going to talk about the kiss?" Roth asked, and Haley nodded at him.
She knew that, from his point of view, she must have seemed incredibly nonchalant about the whole thing. But the truth was that Haley was freaking out. She remembered everything, she and Roth had actually kissed. It had not been a simple peck on the lips either. That might have been how it had started. But in the end there had been a whole lot of tongue, and a whole lot of those strong arms holding her tight.
