We hurried straight to Viona's room—the place the kids loved most in this house.
On the way, we ran into Roey, who had just taken his two envelopes from under the ducky. Vae immediately invited him to join our treasure hunt.
Once we reached Viona's room, I didn't waste a second. I pulled back the bedcover, and sure enough, the last bundle of treasures lay there, some red envelopes shone bright right in front of us.
"Whoaaa… so many. Yay, yay!" Vae jumped in excitement before climbing onto the bed and gathering the envelopes.
Roey stood at the edge of the bed, his eyes darting between the bed and me, clearly confused.
"Father knight, how did you find it here? We never even thought about Mommy's bed because we don't play here," he asked, his tone sharp with his usual interrogation.
I smirked. "You don't play here, but you spend a lot of time here. And you all like this bed too much. Your mommy's hint said a place you like, so it's not only—"
