Meanwhile, Daniel's cafe was as busy as it usually was on Saturdays. The man made sure the cafe took in as many customers as possible, so there were still a few tables and chairs left available.
People came and went, and the atmosphere grew colder as the wind picked up.
"Can't you just leave him at home?" Zane grumbled after a long silence, glaring at Louis, who was sitting not far from them.
Nathan, who had been looking at the cashier because it seemed that Daniel had hired a new person, now looked at Zane and smiled understandingly.
"I can go out because of him. You have to get used to him. Besides, he never bothers us," said Nathan, feeling strange about himself. But he was used to Louis' presence, and in some ways it made him feel safe.
But he understood Zane's annoyance because they were supposed to enjoy the evening together like a normal couple.
