Alexander shook his head, hugging Huan tightly and not letting go. He didn't move either. He rested his head on the man's shoulder.
Huan could feel Alexander's hot breath on the crook of his neck. He knew Alexander had a fever. He didn't know when the man had last been sick. Even when he was sick, the man chose to keep moving and stay active, so it never became serious.
It seemed that no one had ever seen Alexander sick enough to lie in bed.
And now, the man was completely still.
Huan stroked Alexander's head. "I'll call Dr. Edward."
Alexander immediately refused, firmly despite his weak voice. "No. I'm fine."
"No, you are not. You are sick."
"I'm okay. I don't want to see anyone right now. Don't call anyone."
Huan finally gave in. "Then let me take care of you. I'll get some ice water. Your body is very hot."
Alexander didn't answer, but he didn't let go of him at all. In fact, he hugged him even tighter when Huan tried to stand up.
"Alex..."
