Hearing the chief's absolute confidence, the subordinate lowered his head in thought.
In his mind lingered a single figure.
"It's fortunate Xu Dan has the capability he does. Otherwise, people like him would probably have been torn apart alive."
"Yes…" The chief nodded slowly. "I still don't know what kind of adventure that kid encountered. He was clearly driven into a desperate corner at the beginning—yet he rose to this height."
