"How did our guest react to what you said?" the young man asked, taking another shot with the camera in his hands.
"She raised a brow at me, blinked a few times, then asked for black pajamas instead of gowns. She also wanted one steak for her dinner, along with a full-topping boba tea for her drink, Young Master," the maid standing behind him replied, gaze lowered to the floor.
"She didn't shout at you? Didn't try to murder you?" the Young Master mused, fingers still working through yet another shot.
"Not at all," the maid replied. "She seemed… strangely calm, for someone in her position, Young Master, as if she didn't mind being here at all. I'm even starting to suspect whether she was only playing along to make me lower my guard, so she could find a chance to escape."
"Hm, then she'll work on that plan in a few days at most, and we'll find out soon enough," the Young Master replied evenly.
