"How the hell did you figure out I was going to try to escape when Alice brought me dinner?" Kaija asked with a deep scowl.
She'd been tossed onto the bed by none other than Juho, who now stood at its edge, staring down at her with a soft smile playing on his lips.
After she'd uttered his name, the young man had scooped her up over his shoulder, and carried her all the way back into this prison of a bedroom, making sure she couldn't find her way out of that maze-like floor.
"The steak," Juho replied simply, his smile deepening.
"Steak?" Kaija repeated, scoffing. "What about the steak?"
"You don't even like steak," he said. "And I happened to remember that a few minutes after my maid told me what you wanted for dinner. I figured you only ordered that dish so you could get a fork, or a very sharp steak knife."
"How the hell did you even know I don't like steak?!" she snapped.
