"Alright, let's see… the same limousine…" Kaija mumbled, eyes darting left and right as she stood at the North Gate entrance.
"Goodness, is it even the same limousine or the same guy that took me to the restaurant?" she scowled, squinting for a glimpse of any familiar-looking chauffeur or vehicle.
Earlier, Charles had distracted her too much with his naughty hands and tongue that she hadn't paid any attention to the chauffeur's face, or the car itself.
Seconds later, a middle-aged man approached her. He wore a black suit, and perhaps that was the only familiar thing she could recognize among all the chauffeurs Charles had sent to pick her up.
"Ms. Sepala," he greeted her with a polite smile. "Mr. Kosonen sent me to take you back to KE campus."
With little reason to doubt him, Kaija followed the man to a black limousine parked not far from the gate.
The vehicle began to move, and her eyes were already fluttering shut for another good nap during the hour-long ride back.
