As for the current location of Conqueror Kang, Su Ming has already guessed it.
Of course, it's Berlin. With Kang's pride and arrogance, how could he possibly be willing to submit to others? He surely employed some means to disguise himself as Xiaohuzi.
As an ordinary person, he commands the German war machine, leading expeditions east and west.
Once the world is unified, he'll tear off his mask, proclaiming that he is Conqueror Kang, a celestial being descended to Earth. Would anyone below him dare to oppose him?
Those who could resist are dead in the war, or have been dealt with by him. The rest are all his compliant followers.
After Su Ming exchanged this intelligence and speculation with his teammates, a group of mutants showed no special expressions. They just looked at each other, waiting for Su Ming's orders.
Perhaps they had already guessed that facing Conqueror Kang, the only option was a decapitation strike, directly removing him.
Conqueror Kang's abilities are hard to categorize, but in general, he resembles a version of Iron Man who masters the Power of Time.
He isn't particularly intelligent, nor is he a superpower user, but he is a future person, equipped to consistently overwhelm various heroes.
He possesses a set of super armor considered advanced even a thousand years from now, various future weapons he holds include a space-time gun that can draw away someone's time, a door of convenience that can traverse time at will, and a bunch of bizarre, unheard-of gadgets.
"Are you thinking of attacking Berlin directly?" Cable frowned. Though he has some confidence, he still lacks assurance when facing hundreds of thousands of elite German troops modified by future technology.
Deadpool, used as a cushion, also showed a surprised expression on his flattened face, using the large white eyes on his mask to look at Su Ming, as if saying, 'My gosh, cousin, you're too crazy, but... I like it.'
But this is not Su Ming's plan, doing so entails too much risk, his entire group is composed of future people, losing any one would lead to a time-space paradox.
Kang's identity is confirmed, but what exactly he is capable of, what equipment he holds, all remain unknown.
Would Su Ming stubbornly confront him like this? Impossible.
Wade, the human mine-detector, is also unusable, Su Ming needs a new scapegoat to go up.
"No, we are not going to Berlin, we are going to Egypt." Su Ming removed his helmet, peacefully smoking a cigarette, watching the blue strands drift through the lamplight.
"Hiss... "
Cable understood, Deathstroke was even more terrifying than he imagined, he knows too much and can utilize everything.
Only he thinks fastest, his teammates are still figuring things out.
Those staying by Deathstroke now, except himself and Dr. Holloway, are all mutants.
And somewhere underground in Egypt, there is a peerless powerhouse who claims to be the God of Mutants, aiming to revive mutants as his mission...
Apocalypse.
Apocalypse was born during the period of Egypt's First Dynasty around 3000 BC, with naturally gray skin and blue lips.
Due to his bizarre appearance, he was abandoned by his biological parents in the desert.
He was picked up and raised by the leader of a wandering tribe, named En Shaba Nur, meaning 'The First One'.
In ancient Egyptian prophecy, a gray-skinned child would overthrow the First Pharaoh's rule, so when the Pharaoh learned of this, he sent troops to eradicate the tribe, including Apocalypse's foster parents, who died trying to save him.
Apocalypse vowed to avenge them.
However, in reality, the First Pharaoh at that time, named Rama-Tut, was actually Conqueror Kang who traveled to that era, intending to unify that time point using projection equipment for disguise.
He knew Apocalypse's potential in the future, intending to turn Apocalypse to his own use, hence decided to render Apocalypse an orphan, making it easier to nurture and recruit him.
Yet extraordinary people naturally develop mature minds earlier, not to mention super mutant Apocalypse who is no fool.
You killed my foster parents and still want me to serve you? Impossible.
Beauty? Money? Status?
These things are at my fingertips as Shabanuer, do I need you to give them to me?!
So Shabanuer liked the sister of an Egyptian general, but the girl rejected him because his appearance was too terrifying, which completely provoked him.
He awakened his X Gene, emerging as an Omega-Level mutant, possessing almost every superpower one can imagine.
He officially renamed himself Apocalypse.
And he can, in some manner, bestow these abilities on others, as long as he touches their heads, changes their hairstyle, he can grant them any desired power.
For those who don't want new abilities, he can also enhance their existing powers, upgrading them on the spot.
Nobody would say no to turning the tables and transcending destiny!
The results need not be elaborated on, the super strong party Apocalypse, coupled with The Four Wonders occasionally traveling through time causing trouble, directly smashed Conqueror Kang.
The conqueror withdrew from that time point, abandoning his conquest, The Four Wonders were also not a match for Apocalypse, forced to return to the future.
Apocalypse became the ruler of Egypt, a god in people's mouths, until hundreds of years later when he found governing a nation too dull and went to sleep in the pyramid.
Upon waking again, he was deceived by Mr. Sinister, got involved, and was beaten by Phoenix, sealed away until now.
If Su Ming now brings a group of mutants, goes to Egypt and digs Apocalypse out, then cries and tells him Rama-Tut, aka Conqueror Kang, is back...
What will Apocalypse do? One can guess with their toes.
That is to avenge his foster parents once more, since the first time he directly overpowered Kang, doing so again is no issue.
The current challenge is how to prevent tail risk, especially considering Apocalypse is even tougher than Conqueror Kang, calling him a god is not an exaggeration.
What if he too wants to be the sovereign of the world?
Nonetheless, Su Ming is naturally prepared, his team includes Cable...
Cable grimaced, awkwardly rubbing his hair, feeling uncomfortable: "Alright, it's Apocalypse, in the 39th century where I lived, Earth was ruled by Apocalypse, it's a tyrant living in a dystopian world, really tough."
Su Ming shrugged, throwing a cigarette to each of the smokers, everyone puffing together: "At least his play on divine worship is still the old tricks, easier to handle than the Conqueror."
"Huff... it's settled then." Cable was convinced, knowing Apocalypse's skills full well, Conqueror Kang stands no chance against Apocalypse, not even a bit.
"Okay, but before meeting Apocalypse, I have to ask a slightly bold question, is any of you a believer of mutant supremacy?"
Mutant supremacy is the theory Apocalypse has always adhered to, very similar to Magnetic King's violent power struggle theory, which asserts that mutants can never coexist peacefully with humans and are inherently superior.
The X-Men girls all shook their heads, as students of Professor X, how could they possibly believe in Old Wan's theories?
Outlaw does have a similar inclination, but with three women to deal with, Su Ming's little cousin is on the task, no problem.
Among Cable's people, they also shook their heads, all being mercenaries, theories and beliefs matter not at all.
"Very well, Holloway, you combine with Modi and Weasel to form a logistics team, prepared to respond to us in Cairo, Egypt." Su Ming promptly drew Egypt's map on the table, highlighting all possible pyramid locations for Apocalypse: "I will take the remaining people to meet the God of Mutants, Apocalypse."
