He hurriedly reached out to hold her hand, checked the depth of the cut, and sighed.
"How could you be so careless?"
"The kitchen knife is a bit blunt..." Afraid of being scolded, Summer Shawcross hurriedly added in explanation.
Hearing her excuse, Sean Shawcross didn't say anything further. Instead, he let go of her hand and turned to find the first-aid kit.
After a short while, Sean returned to the kitchen with the first-aid kit in hand.
Seeing him approach, Summer quickly extended her injured index finger to him.
Sean glanced at her, shook his head, and then started bandaging her wound.
"Leaving you alone in Narsus City, I'm really not quite at ease." He sighed again.
Hearing this, Summer paused.
"Are you leaving again?"
He had just come back; how could he be leaving again?
Sean paused as he bandaged her, then gently nodded and looked at her with some concern, speaking softly.
