Salvatore returned later in the day with the laptop Valentina requested, and a bag full of sweet treats.
"Where's the phone?"
"Patience Verde. Patience," he said as he left her alone.
Valentina took a deep breath, and without any waste of time, set to work.
It had been too long since she had to do science research. She couldn't be more grateful Salvatore had helped the process by bringing her a bag full of junk.
"It is effectively managed with thinning medications," she read through.
Pausing a second, she thought about it as she talked to herself.
"That one pharmacology class, did talk about blood thinners medication. Heparin, warfarin, aspirin," she muttered to herself.
Her eyes returned to the screen, and as she scrolled down a little, she saw the exact medication she just listed.
"Okay. Let's read about surgical procedures then."
It took Valentina an extra five hours of straight research to finally get to where she was headed in the first place.
