Commissioner Jim Gordan gazed at the busy back of his daughter from the kitchen as the red head was humming a tune to herself while moving about.
She seemed very cheerful… a bit too cheerful. It was not that Jim had anything against his daughter being happy but his doubts stemmed from his single dad senses going off like a crazy.
'Its a guy!' Jim's eyebrows twitched as his lips pressed together in a thin line. He knew this day would come and someday he would have to face the inevitable result of seeing his daughter with some punk.
But it was harder than he thought since after his wife passed away Barabara was the most precious thing to him.
He definitely wouldn't make it easy , if this punk was gonna date his daughter then he better be prepared…..

"You sure you want to be seen with me ? " Adrian asked Kara as they were floating above Metropolis.
"You think I'm scared of being seen with you ? " Kara pouted cutely as she was a bit upset at him for acting like a villain but she knew Adrian wasn't some cold blooded murderer.
Maybe it was her refusing to see him in a bad light as she made up multiple excuses in her mind for him.
"It's just you are part of the Justice League and I didn't want to cause problems for you…" Adrian said earnestly as he patted Kara's head as the blonde melted while leaning forward.
Adrian didn't want to create problems for Kara nor did he want her to change her ways for him , she can follow her ideals and principles , he would do the dirty work.
Adrian didn't think taking a life was the right thing , everyone has a chance for redemption…. But sometimes you just have to do the wrong thing for the right reasons.
If a serial killer was spared on the basis of humanitarian reasons or mental illness reasons then it's like spitting on the victim's face.
If Rabid animals can be put down … then sometimes Rabid humans should be too.
If that law punished psychos like the Joker or Victor Zazz then Adrian wouldn't have had to get his hands dirty.
But Adrian didn't mind even if he no longer received rewards from the System for saving or helping people.
He started to get points which he could use for multiple things , as the items in the store have started to become even more useful.
And with the powers he had he no longer needed to strictly rely on Rewards to get stronger.
The more time passes the stronger he gets , Adrian finally had the strength to be a bit carefree…..

Kara gazed at Adrian's side profile as they were sitting on top of a building while sipping on a smoothie.
He was a scumbag , a womaniser , a very very bad influence… and honestly a good girl like her should stay away from him… but Kara couldn't help herself, as the more she interacted with him the more she was drawn to him.
She wasn't dumb, she could see that even Barbara seemed a bit different after interacting with Adrian , Kara didn't blame her as she ( Kara ) had folded from the moment she met Adrian.
But still she wasn't an easy girl!
She might like him but that didn't mean she would become one of his girlfriends that easily!
Hmph! He would have to work hard for that , take her out on multiple dates , spend time with her , make her happy, then only would she even give him a kiss on the cheek.
Kara sipped her smoothie furiously while glaring at Adrian,as the more she thought of his exploits the more mad she got….

'Eh?' Kara was confused… what the heck was she doing on Adrian's lap straddling him with her hands tightly gripping his hair as her tongue plunged into his lips slurping on their shared saliva.
Wasn't she the one who promised herself that she wouldn't be easy ?
Why was she out here swapping spit with him like a lewd girl…
