Chapter 129 - Chapter 131: The Resistance Gathers

Inside the ruins, after placing all nine crystals from his bag into the empty grooves, a pillar rose in the center of the room.

"What is this?" Amir looked at the alloy sphere encased in the pillar. The sphere was semi-hollow, with a blue light glowing from the gaps.

"I've never seen it either. Perhaps an ancient energy core?" Obi-Wan said, looking at it.

Amir sensed a strong, unique energy from it through the Force. Although he didn't know what it was, it must be something good. After all, a similar ruin held something on the level of a Sith Holocron.

And as an energy storage device, to still have such a strong reaction after being stored for hundreds or even thousands of years... using it as a power source for machines or weapons would surely have miraculous effects.

Carrying the sphere, Amir and Obi-Wan walked out.

It was almost time to depart. A ship slowly flew in through the mist.

Amir's eyes instantly lit up. Although he had never seen this ship, it was incredibly familiar.

"The Millennium Falcon!"

This means Han Solo has already gotten this legendary ship from Lando Calrissian.

Stopping the ship, Han walked off with a big smile. Following him were many golden-haired people from Adrian. The little witch Gulina was among them. It seemed they had already been to the tribe outside.

Lango walked out last, looking weak, his arm in a sling. Chewbacca was supporting him.

"Amir!" Han's face lit up when he saw Amir. "Look at me! I told you, helping me was the right move. I have money, connections, and such a great ship now."

"So you can pay me back?" Amir walked up and patted his shoulder. It really wasn't easy to get this far in such a short time. Han Solo had his own unique methods and charm, which allowed him to navigate the galaxy's underworld with ease.

"Uh... I don't have much cash right now. But look at me," Han pointed at the Falcon behind him. "It won't be long before I'm rich."

"Alright." He didn't borrow much anyway. I'll let him slide for now. He'll have a hard time refusing when I have a job for him in the future.

Seeing Han was on a high, Amir didn't mention his "little girlfriend." Qi'ra should have taken over Crimson Dawn by now, becoming its public leader.

After speaking, he walked over to Lango.

"How did you get so injured?" Amir asked.

Seeing Amir, Lango's face finally broke into a smile. "When we hijacked the ship, I accidentally broke the gravity system. It got a little... bumpy."

That's 'a little bumpy'? Your bones are broken.

"You've worked hard. Rescuing those people was all thanks to you. Go get treated." Amir handed him over to Chewbacca, letting them go find a medical bay.

"How is the children's recovery, Gulina?"

The little witch was also happy to see Amir and came over. "Their emotions have stabilized. Your method is very effective. They're even starting to help with logistics for the base."

"That's good." Amir looked at the children scattered around the base. Their mental state was indeed much better. They were no longer as wary and nervous as when they first arrived.

"After you leave, my tribe and I will take care of them."

So the people from Adrian who came on the Falcon are here to help care for the children. It's lucky the children were settled on this planet, with a trustworthy tribe to help. If it were anywhere else, it would be impossible to care for so many kids.

"We're lucky to have you..."

"Don't mention it. It's what we should do. Without you, our people and children would still be slaves somewhere," Gulina said.

"I've got to go. I won't disturb your upcoming operation." Han Solo finished his rounds and walked back.

"You're already here. Not going to help out?" Amir said.

"Mmm... no. You guys are visibly poor. I don't see any profit in this trip."

I really want to punch him...

Obi-Wan walked over, a pensive look on his face.

"What's on your mind, Master?" Amir had a good idea what he was thinking.

"Nothing..." Obi-Wan found it hard to make a decision.

"Thinking about rebuilding the Jedi Order? So many Force-sensitives. They could all be your first batch of students," Amir asked with a smile.

After hesitating, Obi-Wan finally said, "These are difficult times. If we're discovered, we won't be able to withstand an Imperial siege."

It's clear he has the idea, but he has too many concerns. Just as Amir had discussed with Ahsoka, neither of them wanted to force their hopes onto these children and make them face the danger.

But if any of the children were willing to accept, they wouldn't refuse to train them as Jedi.

Amir told Obi-Wan his thoughts.

"That's for the best. We truly cannot impose our responsibilities on them any longer. We should respect their wishes." Obi-Wan smiled, relieved. "If we're lucky, we'll both have new apprentices."

"You'll be the one teaching, not me. I'm just a little apprentice myself," Amir said warily, seeing Obi-Wan's look.

"Oh~ I feel you'll be graduating very soon."

"Huh?!!" Amir was baffled. I haven't learned anything yet! I'm not doing it!

"After this operation, I'll give you special training. I'll teach you everything I know. With your learning ability, you don't need to be taught slowly."

"That, I can do." Amir nodded. Although there were many things like saber forms and knowledge he hadn't mastered, he could memorize them first and practice slowly later.

Teaching slowly for fear of 'biting off more than he can chew' wasn't suitable for Amir.

"Alright, time to go!" Parks walked over and sent Amir a coordinate. "I'll go with you. We'll head straight to the target planet, wait at the bottom of the base, and move when Ahsoka and the others are in position."

"Got it!" Amir was happy to hear Parks was coming. With the "nanny" around, the safety factor skyrocketed.

He called his people to the ship: Obi-Wan, 32... pushed away Milisen who was trying to get on... Mando, BD-4... pushed away Milisen who was trying to get on... pushed away Milisen who was trying to get on... Finally, after Parks got in, Amir boarded last.

"You said 'next time, definitely'!" the unwilling Milisen reminded Amir from outside.

"Definitely, definitely."
