Cherreads

Chapter 19 - chapter 17The Eclipse of the Phoenix

Every inch of Sofia's body was collapsing under the weight of exhaustion. After receiving that note at dawn, she had hoped for at least a few hours of solitude. But Dimitri returned—his eyes harboring the same primal hunger and cruelty.

As soon as he stepped into the room and began calmly unbuckling his leather belt, Sofia's endurance finally snapped. Her voice was choked with tears, but in that broken tone, she screamed:

"How much more, Dimitri? How much more will you do?"

Sofia slid down against the wall, collapsing to the floor. Tears flowed uncontrollably. Sobbing, she said, "You've already destroyed my body. You've stripped away my identity and turned my existence into a 'dead' status. There is nothing left inside me. Why won't you let me go? Kill me, Dimitri... please just end me, but stop tearing me apart like this!"

Dimitri did not stop. He wrapped the belt around his hand and stepped toward her, one slow pace at a time. That same cold, diabolical smile played on his lips. He knelt before her, gripping her tear-stained cheek firmly, and said:

"Release? Sofia, don't you understand yet? This phoenix was born to burn in the fire. Every time you break, I will rebuild you anew. Until dawn, the time was yours, but from now on, every second... every breath... belongs only to me."

He pressed the hard edge of the belt against the dark bruises on her neck. As Sofia winced in pain, he whispered into her ear:

"Every time you ask 'how much more,' I will remind you—that hell has no end."

The Noose of Silence

Sofia's scream echoed against the four walls of the room. Dimitri showed no mercy. He looped the leather belt around her fair neck. As the tough leather pressed into the welts on her throat, her breath hitched. Her face turned a deep crimson, and her eyes widened in shock. She tried to pull his iron wrists away with both hands, but Dimitri's strength was monstrous.

"Ahhh... Umm..."

Only muffled sounds of agony escaped her throat. Dimitri looped the belt once more, pulling her toward him. Their faces were inches apart. There was no anger in his eyes—only a strange, dark satisfaction.

He spoke into her ear with agonizing slowness:

"This suffocating feeling, Sofia... this is your new life. I want you to taste death every moment, yet never be allowed to die. This belt will be the necklace you wear for me."

Sofia's body trembled violently under the pressure. A tear rolled down from the corner of her eye and fell onto Dimitri's hand. He tightened the grip one last time, as if testing how much longer she could endure.

As her vision began to blur, Dimitri loosened the belt just enough to let her gasp for air—only to prepare her for the next wave of torment. Sofia collapsed onto the floor, panting. Looking down at her, he coiled the belt back around his hand and said, "Don't break so easily, Major. We have a long journey ahead of us today."

The Last Stand

At the peak of her agony, the trained 'Major' within Sofia flickered to life one last time. As Dimitri loosened the belt and wore a triumphant smirk, Sofia gathered every ounce of her remaining strength. She attempted to strike him hard in the leg with her high-heeled shoe.

But Dimitri was no ordinary criminal; his reflexes were as swift as a predator. Before her foot could connect, he snatched her ankle in a crushing grip.

"Ahhhhh... Shhhh..."

Dimitri twisted her leg with such force that a long cry of pain escaped her lips. Using his belt, he began to bind her legs together with ruthless precision. Sofia struggled, but every movement he made was calculated and cold.

He leaned over her, his weight pinning her down. Nipping at her earlobe, he hissed:

"Rebellion? Trying to use your claws while sitting in my cage? It's this defiance that gives me the most pleasure, Sofia. The more you fight, the sweeter the conquest becomes."

Fuming through the pain, Sofia gasped, "Kill me... kill me, Dimitri! Why are you treating me like an animal?"

Dimitri pressed his thumb firmly against her lips to silence her. He then used the rest of the belt to pull her hands behind her back, binding them tightly. The phoenix tattoo on her back contorted in agony as the restraints dug in.

"Ummm... Ahhh..."

Sofia lay on the floor, writhing, as Dimitri tightened the bonds even further. He pulled off her high heels and tossed them into the corner of the room. "These feet are no longer for walking, Sofia," he said coldly. "From now on, they are only for kneeling before me."Dimitri's madness had surpassed all boundaries. With a cold, deliberate movement, he discarded the last of his clothing. His muscular frame loomed in the darkness like a terrifying statue. The veins across his body bulged, pulsing with a deep blue hue that signaled the sheer animalistic power surging within him.

When Sofia saw this monstrous transformation, her heart froze. All her training, all her courage, turned to dust in that single moment. As Dimitri moved toward her, Sofia made one final, desperate attempt to survive by clinging to him. She buried her head against his chest and broke down in uncontrollable sobs.

Trembling and gasping for air, she pleaded:

"No, Dimitri, please... I will die! I don't have the strength to endure this savagery. This isn't a human body, Dimitri; this is the fire of hell. I'll be destroyed... please, just let me go for tonight!"

Her small hands clawed at his stone-hard chest. She realized then that no strength of hers could rival this beast. Every vein in Dimitri's body seemed to hiss like a venomous viper.

Dimitri ignored her pleas entirely. He forced her face up, his eyes filled with diabolical satisfaction. He said in a chilling tone:

"Why speak of dying, Sofia? I want to keep you alive in this very hell. Every throb of my body will remind you that you are no longer an ordinary woman—you are Dimitri's private property. Are you afraid? It is this very fear that draws you closer to me."

He swept her into his arms and carried her toward the bed, whispering:

"Tonight, your body will learn how terrifying Dimitri's love can be. You won't die, Sofia; you will only be reborn, over and over, through my aggression."

Sofia's screams and tears could not change the stifling air of that room. The rhythmic surge of Dimitri's blue veins was the final destiny of her night.

The Breaking of the Phoenix

Dimitri paid no heed to Sofia's protests. When he threw her onto the bed, she tried to cower in a corner. The sight of those engorged blue veins was proof of an excitement so intense it felt like she was facing an ancient demon rather than a man of flesh and blood.

He pinned both of her hands above her head with just one of his. Sofia shook her head frantically, screaming:

"No... Dimitri, no! I can't bear it! Ahh... you'll tear me apart... have mercy!"

Dimitri dropped his full weight onto her. His voice dropped even lower, becoming bone-chilling. Leaning into her ear, he said:

"These screams are my music, Sofia. The more you fear, the more the blood dances in my veins. Every cell of your body will know today who Dimitri Volkov is."

He wasted no time. As he lunged into her exhausted and shattered frame with his monstrous strength, a long cry of agony escaped her—"Ahhhhh... Ummmmm..."

Sofia's eyes glazed over in pain. She felt as though her body was being ripped in two. Every movement from Dimitri was sharp, cruel, and relentless. She dug her nails into the skin of his back, but he didn't even flinch. He was possessed by a dark trance.

The air in the room grew heavy. Sofia's cries slowly turned into muffled groans. She realized she had lost this battle. The blue veins of Dimitri seemed to pour poison into her body, destroying her bit by bit.

At that peak of madness, the sharp 'click-clack' of expensive high heels suddenly echoed in the corridor outside. Someone was approaching the room with slow, deliberate steps.

Sofia froze for a moment amidst her pain. Would Dimitri stop? Or would he allow someone to enter while they were in this state?

The Indifference of Monsters

The sound of high heels stopped right outside the door. Dimitri didn't slow down for even a second; instead, he intensified his aggression. Sofia writhed in agony, her body being crushed under his gargantuan force.

Alia's cold voice drifted in from the other side. "Dimitri, finish what you're doing and get out quickly. We have little time."

Dimitri was drenched in sweat, his blue veins vibrating with excitement. Without looking toward the door, he barked in a hoarse, breathless voice:

"Alia Bhabhi, just go! Mind your own business. I'm not getting up until I've broken the wings of this phoenix. No one dares enter this room until I am finished!"

Sofia was on the verge of losing consciousness. She clawed at his back, murmuring, "Let go... I can't... I'll die..."

But Dimitri was intoxicated. He gripped her chin firmly, forcing her to look into his eyes. He whispered, "Did you hear that? Even Alia knows you belong to me now. Scream, Sofia; the louder you scream, the stronger my resolve becomes."

Sofia realized there was no room for mercy or pity here. When a woman like Alia could stand outside and enjoy this depravity, there was no escape left for her. With every thrust, Sofia felt her soul detaching from her body. "Ahhh... Ummm... Dimitri..." Her cries were swallowed by the walls. Dimitri kept his word—he gave her no release, taking her instead to a level of pain from which there was no return.

The Descent into Darkness

Hearing Dimitri's gruff response, Alia stood still for a moment. A thin, cold smile touched her lips—as if she found the savagery amusing. Then, without a word, the 'click-clack' of her heels resumed as she walked away down the corridor.

When Sofia heard the footsteps fade, her last ray of hope vanished. She had hoped that as a woman, Alia might save her, but Alia had left her alone in the jaws of Dimitri's ravenous lust.

With Alia gone, Dimitri became even more feral. He hissed into her ear:

"See? In this palace, no one will come to hear your cries. There is no mercy here, only possession."

His blue veins acted like whips across her senses. Sofia's body felt like it was snapping, bone by bone. "Ahhh... Dimitri... Please... Ummm..." Her tears soaked the pillow, but to Dimitri, they were merely fuel for his excitement. He continued to grind her shattered body under his monstrous force. Eventually, Sofia lost even the strength to scream. Her vision blurred, her body went limp, yet his primal frenzy did not cease.

The Forbidden Pleasure

At that ultimate peak of agony, a strange chemical shift began in Sofia's brain. The prolonged, intense brutality and the searing heat of Dimitri's body slowly began to numb her nerves. In a state of extreme pain where the body can no longer process distress, an indescribable and primal pleasure began to wash over her numbed existence.

Sofia's cry of pain suddenly transformed into a deep, guttural hum—"Hmmmmmm..."

Involuntarily, she wrapped her arms around Dimitri's sweat-slicked, muscular back. Each of his ruthless movements was no longer just breaking her; they were igniting an unknown fire within her. Sofia closed her eyes, and a sound of surrender escaped her lips.

Dimitri noticed the sudden change. He didn't stop; instead, spurred by her new response, he increased his ferocity manifold. He laughed hoarsely against her ear:

"What happened, Major? Does this hell feel like heaven now? This... this is the surrender I wanted."

Sofia offered no further resistance. She gave herself over to his gargantuan power. Dimitri's sweat and her tears became one. The latent chords of desire within her unconscious mind seemed to awaken with every strike. She realized she was no longer the old Sofia—she was now an inseparable part of Dimitri's darkness.

"Hmmmm... Ah, Dimitri..." This muffled moan drove Dimitri into a deeper state of mania. He carved his dominance into every fold of her body, and Sofia, amidst the torment, found a strange, ultimate bliss.

The room remained thick with Dimitri's muscular exertion and the hum of Sofia's numbing pleasure. Outside, the night grew even darker
