We were all seated in the compound when my mother walked in looking like someone that was beaten or drunk or both, she walked into the house and my father followed her in as it was a tradition for them to not talked about important things in front of the children, since my mother didn't even ask of Niri that shows how important whatever was disturbing was but when my dad got in he just hugged her and didn't say a word she cried and held his so tight "its ok my love" he said whipping the tears on her face.
They stay in that position for a while, so I was left to take care of brother but the truth is i was so worried about my mom, I can't remember the last time i saw her like that; she was so broken and it left all of us worried "what happed to mummy" Niri asked slowly and faintly, mummy will be just fine I said not so sure of what was even wrong with her but i needed to give him some assurance of cos. my brother's health was getting so bad and that made all of us so nervous and scared but in all we believed in God so all we did was keep trusting.

My mother used the whole of the night to console my dad, assure him that she was going to stay with him no matter the storm, my dad was so heart broken and he blamed himself that if it was because he didnt have money, that if he did no one would have wanted his wife and that made him feel so low of himself even though my mother tried to calm him, i think a man is always a man abi how una they talk am!.
It was early hours of the morning and i went to ease myself when i walked in after closing the door, i noticed Niri blanket was no longer covering him so i went to help him cover as i touch the boy, it was almost like i deep my hand into a pot of boiling water "ahhhh mummmy and dadddyyy come ohhhhh" i shouted almost immediately its Niri please come i tried to pick him up with the help of Feng before our parents ran in "what wrong" my dad asked "Niriii niriiii look at me please mummy is here" she said in fear, she was crying and shaking at d same time "Niriiiii please my husband do something" she turned to my dad who was already making calculations and looking so confused "lets talk him to the hospital" he finally said amidst the confusion, atleast all of us know that he doesnt have any money but my mum picked him up for her the life of her boy first! so they ran out of the house "feng and Simi you 2 should stay at home, we'll call if we need something.
