The next morning after breakfast they strapped their swords on and Orion called the cottage back in to his hand and then to his storage space. They headed south to where the bears were supposed to be as they walked Orion started to sing a song that he said called to the bears and pretty soon they saw 3 of them and they were covered in blood. Orion told Sherly go ahead dance with the bears. Sherley smiles and starts to dance cutting one then jumping over the next and then cutting the 3rd Making it easy to hit the 2nd one and with a spin and a kick landed next to the first one again cut it again and fully killed it this time then she jumped over the second one humming thinking of fire and watched the one she jumped over light on fire she laughed and because the fire caught the last bear by surprise it didn't see her sword that beheaded it, then she spun back and put the last one out of its misery. After she hummed again and the fire went out. Orion clapped and said "well done! I noticed you even added in some jumps and magic use. I am impressed!! How do you feel"? Sherley says I feel amazing like it was too easy, even with 3 of them I knew I could take them and that as I moved, I was building up the mana so I hummed and lit the one on fire and then the kills were not done in anger but with calm and precision. It was amazing I wasn't afraid because of muscle memory everything happened just like a dance. Well, it looks like we need to skin them and then we can eat bear tonight, and we will have the proof needed for the town hall. Orion finds a clearing and sets up the cottage. They clean and skin the bears and put everything in his storage and go in and Sherly took a bath as he gets bear fried curry made. Then she reads the magic book and meditates on the lesson and then copies it in her journal. Orion says tomorrow we are going goblin hunting and everything will be a bit different tomorrow I want you to watch what I do". The next day they headed to the west and as they were traveling Orion thought Sherly songs of healing, songs of shields, Songs of movement and songs of strength, he said "though goblins are humanoid they act more like monsters than a civilized people in the past we had tried several times to change that problem but they never took to the idea of learning to talk and work with other groups of people most races think hey are the balance to humans because they reproduce so much faster than humans and look like a human child when dealing with normal goblins the hobgoblins and shamans and kings and Queens are all to large to be mistaken as children or humans so watch out for them and watch how I use songs to remove them quickly." Some will have magic resistance so they will slip through the songs grasp and try to attack. This is where being a sword mage comes in handy because then we can protect our selves unlike plain mages. As they got close to the goblin hoards cave Orion started to sing and goblins just fell over dead blood pouring out their ears as he went into the cave he sliced through 2 goblins as he moved through the caves he sang a new song that seemed to give them the layout of the caves as he approached turns that led off in different directions he would use a song to make a barrier so other goblins could not get behind them and he continued to find the biggest groups and kill them. In one cave they encountered their first hobgoblin and Orion used the cave and was jumping from wall to wall slicing the lower goblins and when he got to the hobgoblin, he sliced through him in one cut Jumping off a cave wall so he could reach his head the hobgoblins were 10 ft tall. The next 2 caves had more hobgoblins and it was obviously easy for Orion to cut through them but he started explaining how he was using the cave walls to jump and get specific angles to make hitting the hobgoblins easier and still be able to block if attacked wile in the air. After that cave they headed back to the last split and headed down that path till it was cleared it was only 2 caves with a bunch of goblins Orion explained that if he was young like her and didn't use a song to block this path the goblins could have surrounded him and this would make it easier for them to group up and take him down. Then the hobgoblins would definitely have the upper hand. Then they moved through the rest of the blocked tunnels till they came back to the main one most only had small groups of goblins. Orion explains that he likes to keep to a right-hand path when clearing caves like this it makes it easier to make sure you get all of the goblins". As Orion cleared the main path, they encountered many more hobgoblins and he would change up the process of killing them sometimes he used fire sometimes he used ice. When they Got to a cave with only 3 hobgoblins again, he gave Sherly a chance to get in some practice and it was exactly that he was ready in case anything went wrong she tried songs and used the walls like Orion and dispatched the trolls with ease. This greatly excited her, she was fighting creatures far beyond what she fought before and was killing them fairly fast and easy. She knew it was all due to the training and her growth. When they got to the King and Queen once again Orion took them on by himself pointing out the weakness of this kind of goblin and what to look for to identify such creatures in the open.
