Fugaku's POV
The moment Rin stepped inside the training ground, the temperature spiked.
Flames bled into the air like a living tide, crawling across the ground, turning the open training field into a sea of red and gold. The night itself recoiled.
So this is it.
A Logia-type ability—fire incarnate.
"This will be tricky," I thought calmly.
"But luckily… he doesn't have a system."
If he did have a system, then my illusion would have no effect on him.
Without illusion, I would need the Mangekyō Sharingan—otherwise, I wouldn't be able to suppress him cleanly.
"I will give you ten moves," I said coldly, "and after that, you will be sent to prison."
Rin's face darkened.
"Damn you, bastard!" Rin roar in rage.
Fire condensed around his arm, spiraling tighter and tighter until it roared.
"Hiken."A massive column of flame surged forward, devouring everything in its path.
I flickered back and hurled three shuriken in a shallow arc—not at the fire, but at Rin's blind spots.
With the help of Observation Haki, he tilted his head slightly, already predicting their trajectory.
"Tch."
As expected—my first counter did nothing.
Rin didn't wait.
He pointed his fingers like pistols.
"Higan."
Rapid-fire bullets of flame screamed through the air, ripping apart the ground where I had stood a moment earlier. I used substitution and disappeared from that spot.
"Running already?" Rin sneered. "You really are a dog."
Outside, the shinobi who had come to watch the fight were shocked by such a terrifying display of fire and began whispering among themselves—but both Rin and I ignored them completely.
I reappeared behind him and threw explosive-tagged shuriken.
They passed straight through his torso.
He was using Logia intangibility.
The explosions detonated behind him instead, blowing apart a chunk of the training ground, yet he remained unharmed.
Rin didn't even flinch.
Black lightning-like patterns crawled over his arm. Without a doubt, he was using Armament Haki.
He twisted and punched straight at my face.
The moment his fist connected, my body burst apart into smoke.
"Tsk."
Rin clicked his tongue.
"Cheap tricks," he growled.
He slammed his foot down.
Fire erupted from beneath him, launching his body into the air.
From above, he crossed his fingers.
"Jūjika."A cross-shaped beam of condensed fire carved downward, splitting the ground like paper. I barely slipped to the side, heat scorching my clothes, my skin stinging even through chakra reinforcement.
I threw shuriken again—this time coated with chakra threads, pulling them mid-flight to change angles unpredictably.
For a split second—one grazed his cheek, using smoke bomb i disappeared from his view.
Fire hissed, and Rin's eyes widened and He immediately pushed his Observation Haki to its fullest.
A Haki-coated fist slammed into me the moment I emerged from the ground for a sneak attack.
The force sent me flying, my body crashing through stone and skidding across the ground until I stopped at the edge of the field.
Rin flew toward me and descended slowly, flames spiraling around him.
"You can't touch me," he said, spreading his arms.
"My body is fire, and I am far stronger than you."
Behind him, dozens of small greenish fireballs appeared.
They floated silently—beautiful and deadly.
"Hidaruma."They exploded all at once, turning the ground into ashes.
Rin frowned.
Everyone around was shocked. Some began shouting that the clan leader had been killed, fear filling their voices at the sight of this madman.
Then—Clapping echoed across the field and Everyone turned toward the source.
It was Fugaku.
Everyone was shocked—even Rin—as all eyes locked onto him.
"I underestimated you," I said calmly.
"You managed to kill my shadow clone."
The words exploded like thunder in everyone's minds—especially Rin's.
Rage twisted his expression.
His fists clenched, and a violent wave of fire erupted outward, blasting toward me.
"Die, you bastard!"
Rin tightened his fists, his body blazing brighter than ever.
The ground cracked as he rushed toward me, the air he passed through turning red-hot.
His entire body was engulfed in fire rendering my physical attacks completely useless.
