I led the way out of my bedroom, doing all I could to not show that I was still in pain while Declan followed me from behind.
For reasons I didn't know, both Dylan and Declan were acting off,. For reasons I still didn't know, Dylan had excused himself from attending the summon, and Declan, who although had not stated it, looked like he would rather not attend.
But I made him come with me before he got the chance to state his disinterest as well.

But Declan didn't seem to be surprised that it was his father that summoned the entire pack members. I realized just then that none of the twins had said anything about the summon that was issued yesterday, the one I had excused myself from attending.
