I left the dungeon of a room where my father now occupied, feeling both angry and disappointed, and headed for Gamma's house afterwards.
Surely Gamma has some explanations for me. He must be able to explain how what was meant to be a secret between us got to my father's knowledge, or why I was now being blackmailed by what was supposed to be a secret.
I had no idea how much time it took me to get there, as I literally ran all the way to his house. I needed answers to my disturbing questions, and I needed them really quickly.
But Declan was with Gamma when I got there, and they were locked in a private conversation. My heart raced at the thought that Gamma was disclosing my secret to Declan also. But I was quick to get hold of myself, and act like there was nothing wrong at all.
Luckily, Declan excused himself a little while later, and left.
