The blonde woman's thin brows knitted in disgust as she glared at Selina. "I hate people bumping into my path."
"I didn't mean to," Selina said, attempting to move aside, only to stumble directly into the woman's space again.
She couldn't tell whether it was a mere coincidence or whether the lingering stares from earlier had left her unsettled and disoriented. She shifted to the right, but once more collided with the woman, lifting her gaze just in time to catch a brief spark of thrill in the woman's eyes before it vanished beneath a calm mask.
This time, Selina knew it wasn't an accident.
It was deliberate. And she wasn't in the mood for antics.
Selina's brows furrowed sharply, impatience flickering across her face. "You should be mindful of your steps."
The blonde woman smiled faintly, pretending to move aside to let Selina pass.
