Selina sighed and lifted her ID. "So, will you still follow us? Or would you prefer to sit in the security room and watch us through the footage instead of making this uncomfortable?"
After checking the card's authenticity, the guards stepped aside.
Selina moved closer to the woman. "Are you hurt anywhere?" she asked, glancing at Annabelle to interpret.
Annabelle signed, and the woman shook her head.
"No. I want my money back so I can buy a dress for my baby. The rest is for our monthly expenses."
Selina opened her mouth to suggest a clinic, but the woman's dazed, shaken expression told her it would be difficult to convince her.
"Okay," Selina said softly. "Let's get the dress for your daughter first."
Annabelle interpreted, and the woman gasped in shock.
"Please," Selina continued gently, "lead the way to the boutique that caught your eyes."
As Annabelle relayed her words, the woman pointed ahead.
