Embarrassed, Selina straightened her spine, trying to regain the elegance she'd had when she first arrived. She flashed him a flustered smile and quickly looked away.
Then Jude's calm voice reached her.
"Ms Selina, I think it's time I drive you home," he said politely. "Master Zane gave the instruction."
Hearing that rascal's name again, Selina's lips twitched into a sneer, her irritation spiking. She turned to face Jude, who was already ushering her toward the parking lot.
She drew in a sharp breath, forcing herself to stand straighter. "He's not worth it," she muttered, smoothing her hair, though her pulse still raced.
Without hesitation, she lowered herself into the backseat. Jude started the engine and guided the car gently out of the underground lot, following the narrow path toward the estate's main gate.
Selina lifted her gaze to the elderly man's reflection in the rearview mirror.
