After cleverly managing the situation, Miku finished the first song.
Before starting the second song, she smiled sweetly and began interacting with the audience below.
"Hey everyone in Tokyo! How are you doing?!"
Holding the microphone, standing on stage like a dazzling morning star, Miku instantly drew a tsunami-like wave of cheers.
"YEAH!" countless voices roared back.
"Miku! Miku! Miku!"
The audience's cheers and shouts swept over like a tidal wave, instantly making the atmosphere incredibly heated.
"Wow!"
"Miku can really feel everyone's passion!"
"But before starting the next song, Miku needs to apologize for spacing out for a moment earlier!"
"Sorry about that! Miku was just overwhelmed by everyone's enthusiasm!"
"Seeing the venue packed, even with people standing! It really surprised Miku!"
Miku found a reason for her earlier daze.
This excuse, combined with Miku's lively, surprised expression and acting, immediately caused the audience to burst into laughter.
"Since everyone is so passionate! Then Miku will give it her all next!"
"Please look forward to it~~~"
Miku gave a slight smile and then prepared to start the second song.
However, Yuki noticed the girl's glances kept drifting towards his direction. He smiled faintly and waved at her.
Seeing Yuki's wave, Miku seemed to instantly receive his encouragement.
A brilliant smile appeared on her face, her silver eyes sparkling with a strange light as she made a heart-shaped gesture with both hands towards Yuki's direction.
This single action instantly caused a stir among many fans, creating a commotion.
"Miku! Miku! Miku!"
The fans shouted tirelessly, waving their glow sticks wildly, trying to catch their idol's attention.
As the music started, Miku quickly immersed herself back into the performance.
Meanwhile, in the area where Yuki was sitting, Miku's heart-shaped gesture caused quite a stir.
Everyone began discussing what special meaning the gesture might have.
Even the fellow spectator sitting next to Yuki couldn't help but chatter in Yuki's ear.
"Hey, hey, buddy, what do you think Miku's gesture just now meant?"
"It seemed aimed right at our section~~!"
"Not sure," he said, then turned away.
"Come on! I think Miku probably spotted a relative or friend in this section or something!"
"Is that so? Or maybe a lover or sweetheart?"
The corner of Yuki's mouth lifted slightly as he said this slowly.
As soon as Yuki said this, the other person vehemently shook his head, denying the possibility.
"No way! Miku is a national idol songstress!"
"There's no way she could have someone she likes!"
Hearing this, Yuki stroked his chin, looking at the other person with a puzzled expression.
"Why? Even if she's an idol, she's still human, right?"
"Since she's human, there will be a day for love and marriage."
Faced with Yuki's argument, the other person nodded in agreement, but his tone shook his head, as if Yuki was still naive. He spoke to Yuki with a grave, earnest air:
"That's only true for ordinary people!"
"But it doesn't apply to Miku. She's a celestial being from the heavens, a goddess!"
"How could there possibly be a man in this world worthy of her?!"
"Have you ever seen her get close to any men in the industry or elsewhere? No!"
"She's never had any scandals. Even those famously handsome male idols in the industry, she pays them no mind."
"So, the conclusion is, there simply isn't a man in this world that Miku could like."
Hearing the other person's detailed analysis, Yuki almost believed it him, if he himself weren't the person involved.
"So, do you think I would be worthy?"
Yuki asked curiously, adding another question.
However, that fellow spectator was clearly caught off guard by this question.
His expression froze for a moment, then he looked Yuki up and down before muttering.
"I have to admit, buddy, you really are handsome!"
"Ten times more handsome than those male idols in the industry, but!"
His tone shifted, becoming serious.
"Miku isn't so shallow as to only care about looks! She values inner beauty more than the outer shell!"
"That's true."
Yuki agreed with that statement.
Because even before seeing him, Miku had expressed her determination that her love wouldn't change even if Yuki were ugly.
"So you see, buddy, stop dreaming!"
"Besides, you're already a married man! Don't even think about it!"
Then the spectator patted Yuki's shoulder, as if persuading a prodigal son to return.
Yuki didn't respond, merely finding it somewhat amusing.
Miku's concert lasted for over two hours, finally concluding close to noon, around 12 PM.
Before the end, Miku and all the backup dancers who participated in the performance came out for the curtain call.
"Everyone! Thank you so much for coming today!"
"You made this concert a success! I hope we'll have a chance to meet again!"
"Thank you all so much! Goodbye!!!"
After the curtain call, amidst the audience's applause, Miku and the staff slowly headed backstage.
Before leaving, Miku didn't forget to wink in the direction of Yuki's seat.
Yuki understood Miku's meaning and got up, intending to head towards the staff entrance area.
The spectator sitting next to him, seeing Yuki heading in the completely opposite direction from everyone else, was momentarily stunned.
"Hey!"
"Buddy, you're going the wrong way!"
"The exit's over here!"
Hearing the shout from behind, Yuki turned back with a smile.
"No, I'm going this way."
With that, he turned and walked straight toward the staff entrance without looking back, leaving only a carefree silhouette.
The spectator, hearing Yuki's words, muttered to himself.
"Thinks he can meet Miku by going that way?"
"Too naive! An idol of that level has bodyguards for her entrances and exits!"
It was clear he thought Yuki was just another clueless fan trying to get close to the idol.
He seemed to already picture Yuki being chased off by bodyguards and couldn't help but shake his head before turning to leave.
The staff entrance was clearly marked, and Yuki quickly went inside.
Upon entering, he found four efficient-looking women standing on either side of the passage.
They wore suits and had shiny bracelets on their wrists.
Their alert eyes and professional attire indicated they were bodyguards.
Moreover, from their equipment, Yuki could tell these four weren't ordinary bodyguards.
They were all personnel from the security services division under the Infinity Company founded by Ellen Mathers.
The bracelets on their wrists were the best proof.
While they looked like refined bracelets, in the event of combat, they would unfold into a suit of CR-UNIT armor using liquid nano-metal.
Seeing Yuki approach, the four bodyguards immediately became alert, stepping forward to block his path.
"Sir, this is a staff-only passageway."
"Please exit by following the other audience members."
Although their tone was polite, their vigilance didn't relax in the slightest.
Not letting their guard down over a seemingly harmless man was enough to show the high level of professionalism instilled in them by the company.
"Not bad. Ellen trained you well. She hasn't lost face as the world's strongest Wizard."
{T/n: In the earlier chapters, I wasn't aware that Date A Live refers to CR Unit fighters as wizards rather than magicians. I apologize for the mistake.}
Yuki wasn't angry; instead, he smiled and praised them.
When the four female bodyguards heard Yuki mention Ellen's name, their expressions instantly changed.
They looked at Yuki in surprise, wondering how this man knew their company CEO Ellen, and even knew the title 'world's strongest Wizard'.
