"Don't worry, I'll definitely have time when I get back!"
In an office, Louis held a "scroll"—design blueprints to discuss with Scott Lang—and walked excitedly towards the door.
"By the way, did you guys wash the truck for tomorrow morning?"
As he reached the door, Louis suddenly remembered something and turned to his two partners.
"We even washed the chassis," Dave replied.
"You even washed the chassis?" Louis was speechless. Did they have to clean it that thoroughly? "We live in California, not Minnesota."
"He's right!"
a voice suddenly rang out.
Immediately afterward, a group of uninvited guests swaggered in.
"It's Sonny Birch!"
Scott Lang's pupils contracted slightly.
Not only him, but everyone else on the screen recognized the man appearing on the big screen—it was none other than the legendary smuggling tycoon, Sonny Birch.
However, Sonny Birch wasn't a typical smuggler; he smuggled high-tech equipment, which led to a conflict with Hope, who gave him a
severe beating.
Everyone remembered him vividly.
Surprisingly, he persisted in pursuing Hank Pym's lab, even tracing his tracks back to Scott Lang's close friend.
For Louis and his group, dealing with someone like Sonny Birch was indeed highly unlikely.
"Washing the undercarriage is to remove the de-icing salt!"
Sonny Birch swaggered up to Louis and his companions. "We only use that stuff on the roads in our sister states where it snows."
"Who are you? How do you know so much about the car wash industry?" Louis asked, utterly bewildered.
"My name is Sonny Birch. I'm good at investigating, Louis. I also learned from an FBI friend that you and Scott Lang are close, and I know Scott Lang and Hank Pym are close!"
As everyone guessed, Sonny Birch was indeed after Hank Pym's lab.
"Hank Pym has a portable, shrinkable lab full of all sorts of interesting technology. You have to tell me where he is," Sonny Birch said confidently to Louis.
"Actually, I really want to tell you, but I don't know exactly where he is either," Louis replied, of course, not wanting to easily betray Scott Lang.
This made Scott Lang, watching on the screen, quite gratified; he hadn't misjudged Louis as a friend.
"You seem a bit resistant to Louis, but I've already promised some dangerous people I'd get the information for them, so let me introduce you to my friend, Uzman."
Sonny Birch said, patting a guy next to him who looked a lot like an Indian.
"Uzman is particularly good at using mental methods to pry open the mouths of people who don't want to talk." As Sonny Birch introduced him, Uzman opened a small box.
Inside the box were tubes of medicine.
Clearly, he intended to inject those medicines into Louis's body.
"Oh, are those truth serums?" Louis wasn't afraid at all; instead, he looked excitedly curious.
This left everyone watching on the screen slightly speechless.
Scott Lang's friend is no ordinary person.
It feels like he's wasted his time partnering with Scott Lang; he should join the Guardians of the Galaxy and team up with Star-Lord and the others.
"There's no such thing as a truth serum; that's just TV show nonsense," Uzman retorted seriously.
"Then what is it?" Dave asked with a curious look.
"It's a mixed agent," Sonny Birch explained. "He's been refining it since his days in MI6. It makes you extremely susceptible to suggestion, answering any question."
"Mr. Rogers, aren't you an agent too? Does this kind of thing really exist?" Peter
Parker turned to Captain America beside him with curiosity.
"Yes, it does exist; almost every intelligence agency has it," Captain America nodded, not denying it. S.H.I.E.L.D. has it. As for the FIB and CAI, Captain America believed they also had it, just couldn't reveal it. On the screen , Uzman quickly injected Louis with a truth serum. Louis tested it and said, "You know, this stuff isn't truth serum, because I don't feel anything." But as soon as he finished speaking, Louis added, "I lied, I felt something... This is truth serum! This is truth serum!" "OK! OK!" Sonny Birch was very satisfied and sat down in front of Louis. "It's simple, Louis, where is Scott Lang?" "That's a long story." Louis answered every question. "When I first met Scott Lang, he was in a terrible state, and I'm not talking about Block D. His wife had just filed for divorce. I said, 'Damn man, he dumped you while you were in jail.' He said, 'Yeah, I thought we'd grow old together, but now I'm all alone.' I said, 'Man, you know what, cheer up, you've got a new partner, you know what? I'm Louis.' He said, 'You know what? I'm Scott Lang, we'll be good friends…'" Then Louis started rambling on like a machine gun, spewing out a whole bunch of completely irrelevant nonsense to Sonny Birch. Everyone watching was speechless. The question was, "Where is Scott Lang?" This guy started talking about how he met Scott Lang. What was he talking about? Why didn't he start from the beginning of time? "Louis's desire to express himself is a little bit too strong," Scott Lang forced a dry laugh and explained. A little bit? A whole lot more! Everyone was exasperated. "Stop! Stop!" on the screen.
Even someone as formidable as Sonny Birch couldn't hold back any longer, annoyedly stopping Scott Lang. "I also enjoy hearing exciting stories, but what does this have to do with where Scott Lang is?"
"Almost there, almost there!" Louis assured him.
"You put in a coin, so you have to listen to the whole song," Dave said, offering a vivid and apt analogy for Sonny Birch.
"He's like a human jukebox," Kurt added.
"Oh, my grandma's restaurant has a jukebox, yeah, it only plays Moses songs..." Louis, upon hearing this, began rattling off about his grandma's jukebox.
"Lang!" Sonny Birch finally had to interrupt Louis.
No one doubted that if Sonny Birch hadn't interrupted, Louis could have talked nonstop until dark.
" That mouth of his is terrifying."
"Okay, okay! Anyway, later, Scott Lang got out of prison, and he started working for Hank Pym. That's when he met Hope..."
Just as everyone expected, Louis launched into a long tirade about how Scott Lang met Hope, how he hooked up with her, and how they broke up.
He even went so far as to mention that the company they co-founded with Scott Lang was going bankrupt. He
just kept rambling on and on ,
never getting to the point.
"Scott Lang, where the hell is he?!" Sonny Birch was about to collapse, yelling at Louis.
"In the forest!" Louis finally provided some useful information.
"In the forest?"
Another voice suddenly rang out, and Ghost Ava's figure appeared abruptly.
Everyone was so scared they almost peed their pants.
"So Ghost Ava can not only temporarily 'phantomize' her body, but also remain invisible for a long time!"
Scott Lang said in surprise.
Ghost Ava was far more terrifying than he had imagined.
"Captain, did you know Ghost could do that?" Scott Lang immediately turned to Captain America beside him and asked.
"No, Ghost's file doesn't record that move." Captain America shook his head.
"No wonder he's Ghost, he's just like Ghost!" Peter Parker couldn't help but exclaim.
"What do you mean by 'in the forest'?"
On the screen,
Ghost grabbed Louis and demanded.
"Muel Forest, on the second fire lane of the Panoramic Highway!" Louis blurted out.
"God!" Ghost exclaimed excitedly, then quickly turned and left.
He simply passed right through the wall. This
once again terrified everyone in the room.
After Ghost left, Sonny Birch and the others naturally didn't dare to delay and immediately went downstairs, intending to capture Scott Lang and the others first.
However, when they got downstairs, they discovered that all the tires of their cars had been punctured.
Without a doubt, it must have been Ghost's doing.
"Damn it! If that monster gets Pym's equipment, I'll never get it back." Sonny Birch said with a pained expression.
"So what do we do?"
Uzman asked from the side.
"It's easier to get it from the FBI than from the monsters." Sonny Birch made a decision, then pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
"Hey, it's me. Want a promotion? I know where Hank Pym and Hope are. Go and catch them right now, because they won't be there for long."
"After you catch them, you have to give me the lab."
The scene froze there.
This entire video clearly showed how Louis and his team leaked Hank Pym's whereabouts.
The culprit was actually Sonny Birch.
"This Sonny Birch doesn't look like a good person. Captain, hasn't S.H.I.E.L.D. arrested him yet?" Scott Lang couldn't help but ask from the side.
"S.H.I.E.L.D. has a lot of things to deal with," Captain America simply said.
Putting everything else aside, the Hydra mess alone was already keeping Nick Fury extremely busy.
Although T-1000 has been in charge of Hydra for over two years, there's still a very long way to go before Hydra is completely dismantled.
