"Isn't it Nebula?"
Peter Parker looked at everyone and made the first judgment. "I remember in the shared data, wasn't it Nebula who secretly used the time machine to send Thanos from the past?"
Not only Peter Parker, but everyone present naturally had Nebula as the first suspect in their minds.
They had even discussed whether Nebula was a spy Thanos had sent to their side during the quiz.
"That's right." Captain America nodded and said, "Based on the clues we have, Nebula is indeed a strong suspect, but we can only remain at the suspect stage; we can't be certain."
"After all, the Avengers have traveled through time, just like when they were searching for the Tesseract and the Scepter. In that timeline, there were two versions of me, and two Starks."
"Therefore, during the Avengers' journey to collect the Infinity Stones, there must have been two Nebulas existing on the same timeline."
"This leads to a problem: we can't determine which of the two Nebulas the Nebula who returned is."
"Theoretically speaking, both Nebulas are possible."
Captain America's words made sense; the Nebula who teleported Thanos did indeed have two possible identities.
However, determining which Nebula it was required for everyone to make a judgment.
And this judgment process wasn't actually difficult.
"I think the Nebula who teleported Thanos was the Nebula from the past… well, let's call her the past Nebula for clarity,"
Strange said, explaining his reasoning. "Because that Nebula's behavior is so different from the original Nebula."
"According to our intelligence, Nebula attempted to assassinate Thanos, even went to Titan to fight him, and ultimately led everyone to the 'Garden' to kill him." "
And the time travel to collect the Infinity Stones happened after Thanos was killed. Since Nebula had completely betrayed Thanos and even helped everyone eliminate him, why would she 'colluded' with Thanos again when collecting the stones?"
"There's only one answer…"
"That Nebula isn't the original Nebula!" Thor added, picking up where Strange left off. "That Nebula is the past Nebula, the Nebula before she betrayed Thanos!"
"Yes! That must be it!"
Peter Parker clapped his hands. "The past version of Nebula somehow managed to disguise herself as the original Nebula, infiltrate the present, and then teleport Thanos here!"
This was quite obvious, and everyone agreed on this conclusion after analyzing the situation.
In fact, this kind of thing only makes sense if it happened to Nebula; it wouldn't make sense for anyone else.
Even for the same person, changes over a few years are clearly discernible; their appearance would definitely differ from a few years ago.
Especially the Avengers of that time, having fought side-by-side so many times, their familiarity and understanding of each other must be extraordinary. A replacement of the past version would be immediately noticeable.
But Nebula, on the other hand, is a cyborg.
Her appearance wouldn't change even slightly over several years.
This laid the foundation for the past version of Nebula to "switch" her.
"So, we can eliminate question B now, right?" Peter Parker said, glancing at everyone again.
This was, of course, a matter of course.
"Wait a minute!"
Scott Lang suddenly remembered something and said to everyone, "The options didn't specify which nebula! Our analysis just now only proved that the original Nebula wouldn't betray us, but what about the past Nebula?"
Ah!
Everyone was genuinely stumped by Scott Lang's question.
The options didn't specify which timeline the nebula was referring to, meaning both timelines were possible.
And the past Nebula, betraying Thanos...
"No, Scott, the past Nebula wouldn't betray us," Tony Stark shook his head, stating firmly.
He was initially taken aback by Scott Lang's words, but quickly realized it was impossible.
"That nebula was Thanos's subordinate. Even if she knew about our time-travel plan, and even if she did, reporting it to Thanos wouldn't be considered betrayal, would it?"
"She was Thanos's person!"
Thanos's daughter telling Thanos a top-secret matter was perfectly reasonable and logical; how could it be considered "betrayal"?
After everyone's analysis, option B was eliminated.
"Option B can indeed be eliminated," Captain America declared decisively. "Let's look at option A now."
With Captain America's reminder, everyone's attention turned to the first option.
"I think option A is unlikely and can be eliminated."
Before anyone could speak, Captain America gave his analysis. "The operation to collect the gems involves going back in time! I think everyone will choose the most suitable time and place to carry out the operation when making the plan, to ensure that the operation will not be leaked." "
But... I have some classmates from China at school, and I heard them say something that I think makes a lot of sense: plans can't keep up with changes." Peter Parker raised his doubts. "A good plan is only a prerequisite, but what if something unexpected happens during the execution? Like when Mr. Stark was punched away by the Hulk."
"That's right, kid, what you said makes sense, but I still think the possibility is very small." Captain America said again, his tone quite certain.
"Mr. Rogers, how can you be so sure that nothing unexpected will happen?" Peter Parker asked curiously.
"Yes, Rogers, how can you guarantee that?" Thor also asked curiously from the side.
"Because this question tells us that it was Nebula who went back in time to find the Power Stone!" Captain America said emphatically.
In the previous question, everyone discussed the superheroes going back in time to collect the stones.
Except for the Power Stone, it was clear who was responsible for finding the other stones.
And the Power Stone...
everyone guessed it would be Rocket Raccoon.
However, it now appears that Nebula was also involved in the search for the Power Stone, which isn't surprising given her status as a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
This question clearly indicates that Nebula was also involved in the journey back in time to collect the stones, leaving only two possibilities: the Reality Stone or the Power Stone.
After all, the methods used to collect the other four stones have been shown in the footage, and Nebula wasn't involved.
Of the two stones, the Power Stone's connection to Nebula is significantly stronger than that of the Reality Stone.
Therefore, it's highly likely that Nebula went to collect the Power Stone.
No one had any doubt about this,
and Captain America didn't need to explain.
"Does everyone remember where the Power Stone was found?" Captain America asked, glancing at everyone.
"On an abandoned planet!"
Scott Lang immediately interjected. "That's right, before the Cosmic Sphere was 'exposed,' going to that abandoned planet to retrieve it was the best option!"
This was also beyond question.
There wasn't a soul on that abandoned planet; a simple trip was all it took to take the sphere without anyone noticing. How could anyone possibly discover it?
It wasn't like Tony Stark and Captain America's operation at Stark Tower, where they would encounter so many people.
Of course, the quiz system never revealed any clues about collecting the Power Stone, but even so, everyone believed it was definitely as Scott Lang said:
going to that abandoned planet to take it directly.
Because it was the simplest and safest approach; anyone with a sound mind wouldn't use any other method.
"So option A can indeed be ruled out," Thor said with a smile.
After discussion, option A was indeed eliminated, and everyone basically reached a consensus.
With options A and B eliminated, the question became quite simple.
"The answer is obvious now, isn't it?" Strange said matter-of-factly. "Option D is impossible."
"First of all, Thanos is neither the Ancient One nor Doctor Strange. Even if he could use the power of the Time Stone, he might not be able to observe time!"
"Of course, we can't be certain of that, after all, Thanos has used 'time-like magic' and resurrected Vision, so we can't rule out the possibility that he knows time magic." "
But obviously, even if Thanos could do that, he hasn't observed the future, and he has no idea what will happen in the future."
"Because if that were the case, he would never have asked us to cut off his head!"
"Wouldn't it be much simpler and easier for him to nip us in the bud than to send a message to his past self, then willingly let his head be cut off, and then have his past self turn the tables on him?"
"If he really observed the future, then he wouldn't have failed!"
Strange skipped over option C and analyzed the last option.
This analysis is undeniably quite reasonable.
With all six Infinity Stones in hand, Thanos, knowing someone was coming to kill him, did nothing but send a message to his past self, destroy the stones, and wait to die?
It certainly seems absurd.
Everyone agreed that option D was illogical and was easily eliminated.
"We all know Nebula was modified by Thanos. We don't know if her brain was modified, but it's a possibility,"
Tony Stark began to explain. "And if her brain was modified into a processor similar to a computer, then option C could very well happen."
"This is equivalent to Nebula's central processing system suddenly accessing two devices, causing the system to malfunction."
"Thanos, through the brain device of the past Nebula, accessed the original Nebula's data, thus learning about everyone's plan to travel back in time to collect the stones."
"This is perfectly logical."
Having analyzed the question to this point, there was no doubt; the answer was C.
"We've all answered the questions, right? This is the first question of the new round, isn't it?"
Scott Lang asked, glancing at everyone.
"That's right! Mr. Stark, so who's going to answer this question?" Peter Parker followed closely behind Scott Lang, asking.
According to the usual principle, whoever's question is asked should answer it, but this question had nothing to do with any of the participants.
Since that was the case, it would have to be based on everyone's interest.
"Mithril? That should be a metal, right? Nobody but Stark would use that." Thor patted Tony Stark on the shoulder.
This was obvious, so no one argued with Tony Stark, and the spot to answer this question naturally fell to him.
"I choose C! My memory synapse has a bug!" Tony Stark didn't hesitate and immediately gave his answer to the big screen.
[Correct answer!]
The answer was exactly as everyone expected; it was indeed C.
[Congratulations to Tony Stark for winning 5,000 kilograms of mithril!]
[The reward has been sent to the respondent's system inventory, please check!]
The reward arrived quickly.
Naturally, some information about mithril was also instilled into Tony Stark's mind.
After reviewing it, a satisfied smile appeared on Tony Stark's face.
"Harder than steel, but less than half the weight, while possessing the ductility of copper, and can be polished smooth like glass..."
Tony Stark briefly listed some of mithril's properties.
"Mr. Stark, if I may be so bold, this doesn't sound as good as vibranium, does it? You say it's harder than steel, but it's only harder than steel, not as hard as vibranium, right? And isn't vibranium quite light?"
Peter Parker asked, staring at Tony Stark with some suspicion.
Because based solely on the properties Tony Stark described, while mithril was good, that was only compared to ordinary metals.
For everyone who had won so many rewards, mithril was just so-so.
"Peter, mithril is something everyone fights for in another world. I've said so much, but I haven't mentioned the most important point: mithril has a very high affinity for magic!"
"This is a crucial property that other metals don't possess!"
