Chapter 347 - Doctor Strange was killed by Doctor Strange

  The next moment.

Doctor Strange and the corrupted Doctor Strange appeared at a car accident scene.

A car was stuck at an angle on the side of the road, and it was clear that the accident was very, very serious.

Based on this, everyone could easily guess that the person involved in the accident must be Christine.

Thinking about this, everyone couldn't help but want to complain. Strange himself became Doctor Strange because of a car accident, and now his girlfriend will also be involved in a car accident in the future?

Why are these two so obsessed with car accidents?

Could it be that they are cursed by car accidents?

"Our powers have been weakened because we were split in two."

The corrupted Doctor Strange's voice rang out, and he said to Doctor Strange, "But as long as we become one, we can save her."

  "We can't!" Doctor Strange said.

"You don't believe me now, but just wait and see."

"The Ancient One warned us that if we save Christine, the world will be destroyed!"

"I told you, she doesn't understand, but we love Christine!"

"This isn't love. Look around, this is arrogance. We need to get everything back on track!"

  …

The two Doctors Strange then engaged in a fierce debate.

The result was predictable: neither could convince the other, so they resorted to violence.

  A massive battle ensued.

"This evil version of Doctor Strange is too powerful! He's completely dominating Doctor Strange!"

  Peter Parker exclaimed in surprise.

The Ancient One had said that only Doctor Strange could stop the evil Doctor Strange, but the reality was that Doctor Strange was no match for him.

Although they managed to fight back at times, overall, Doctor Strange was completely overwhelmed.

During the battle, the corrupted Doctor Strange would occasionally unleash evil and terrifying monsters, further demonstrating the darkness of his magic.

And so, after an intense battle, Doctor Strange was defeated by the corrupted Doctor Strange and completely absorbed by him.

  Yes, absorbed.

The corrupted Doctor Strange absorbed Doctor Strange into his own body, merging the two into one.

At this moment, his magic exploded, successfully resurrecting Christine, who had died in the car accident. However,

due to the excessive use of magic and his inability to suppress the power within him, he himself became a complete monster.

  "Christine!"

the monster knelt before Christine, calling softly.

However, the awakened Christine was terrified by the monster and fled for her life.

This was undoubtedly a very tragic event.

But what was even more tragic was yet to come, because the corrupted Doctor Strange's successful resurrection of Christine broke the absolute timeline, causing the framework of reality to begin to collapse.

The entire universe began to crumble!

  Including the newly resurrected Christine!

The corrupted Doctor Strange could only watch helplessly as Christine, whom he had just saved at the cost of everything, collapsed before his eyes along with the entire universe.

  This was a tragic story.

After the video finished playing, the atmosphere in the room was incredibly oppressive.

The events depicted were a complete tragedy.

The entire world had been utterly destroyed by the corrupted Doctor Strange.

"Strange, it might be a bit inappropriate to say this, but I think if it happens in the future... you really need to think about this carefully, you know what I mean..." Scott Lang said, gesturing as he spoke to Strange.

"I know what you mean, but it wasn't me who did that, it was another me, my doppelganger," Strange said gravely.

"Even though it's your doppelganger, don't forget how you got it? It was created by the Ancient One!" Tony Stark chimed in.

  "So?"

"So why did the Ancient One fight you? I guess she was trying to stop you from saving Christine, right?" Tony Stark's gaze was incredibly sharp.

  Strange was speechless.

Because it was clearly pretty much true.

The Ancient One accidentally split the timeline in two while trying to stop him, also splitting Doctor Strange in two.

The reason he doesn't intend to resurrect Christine is highly likely because the part of his personality that wanted to save her has already been severed by the Ancient One!

If that's the case, things become quite troublesome.

The enormous crisis shown in the future in the footage could potentially recur.

"So what we need to do next is keep a close eye on Christine and make sure nothing happens to her," Thor came up with a feasible solution. "

Isn't it said that absolute time cannot be changed?" Peter Parker weakly interjected.

  His words added considerable anxiety.

If that's true, doesn't it mean Christine is destined to die in the future, and Doctor Strange will inevitably want to save her?

Will the universe face another extinction crisis in the future?

"Don't worry, everyone. Even if Christine really dies in the future, I won't save her. I already know the consequences of doing so, so I won't do it again."

"At worst, I can use the Spirit Binding Technique to temporarily preserve Christine's soul and then make further plans."

After a moment of silence, Doctor Strange finally spoke, addressing everyone seriously.

"Why are you so depressed? Although we haven't thought of a perfect solution yet, there will definitely be a perfect one!"

"With so many of us, so much information, and so many rewards, there's nothing we can't solve!"

  "Cheer up, everyone!"

Tony Stark said, which dispelled some of the oppressive atmosphere.

[Question: Hank Pym and his daughter Hope were arrested by the FBI after retrieving the lab from Ghost. Who leaked their whereabouts?]

  [A. Hank Pym]

  [B. Scott Lang]

  [C. Ghost Ava]

  [D. Louise]

  [Friendly Reminder: Correct answers will be rewarded with a pair of flight boots;

incorrect answers will result in a random deduction of one attribute, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, possessions, etc.]

The group was discussing when the system notification sounded again, interrupting their discussion.

  A new question appeared.

"Great, so Hank Pym and his daughter were still arrested by the FBI." Scott Lang slightly complained, but it was just a complaint.

He already knew that the reason Hank Pym and his daughter became wanted criminals was entirely because he participated in the Heroes' Civil War at the German airport.

But now, even Ultron hadn't been born, the Battle of Sokovia wouldn't happen, and the Civil War naturally wouldn't occur either.

It's unlikely that Hank Pym and his daughter will become wanted criminals again.

"Hank Pym should be ruled out first, right? He wouldn't have leaked his whereabouts and gotten himself arrested, right?"

Peter Parker immediately said to everyone.

"No, Peter," Captain America shook his head, rejecting Peter Parker's opinion, "The question only mentions leaking whereabouts, but it doesn't say whether it was intentional or unintentional."

"That's right!" Thor agreed, "Hank Pym certainly wouldn't intentionally leak his whereabouts, but he might have unintentionally left some clues that led the FBI to discover him."

"So option A is possible," Strange summarized option A simply, "Hank Pym might have unintentionally leaked his whereabouts."

After everyone's discussion, option A was a possible option and couldn't be ruled out; it remained pending.

"Option B, me too." Scott Lang then turned his attention to option B, stating matter-of-factly, "Of course I wouldn't intentionally reveal Hank Pym's whereabouts, but it's possible I unintentionally left some clues."

Scott Lang and Hank Pym's situations were remarkably similar; both were wanted criminals, living in the shadows.

Even the slightest trace they left would immediately attract the FBI's attention.

Option B, Scott Lang, was naturally also on hold.

Not only option B, but option C below is the same.

Of course, Ghost Ava most likely wouldn't intentionally reveal Hank Pym's whereabouts, since Ava's goal is to seize the lab, why would she attract the FBI?

That would be asking for trouble.

If the FBI was indeed attracted by Ghost Ava, then it could only be unintentional.

  "Louis? Who is he?"

After analyzing the first three options, Peter Parker couldn't help but stare at the name in option D and ask.

Admittedly, everyone had already shared intelligence, but insignificant characters like Louis weren't in the shared files.

Some of the veterans who answered the questions knew him, but those who joined later, like Peter Parker, really didn't.

"He's a friend of mine," Scott Lang immediately explained to Peter Parker, "We've been through a lot together in the main universe, he's a friend I trust."

"If that's the case, Louis is also a possibility?" Peter Parker asked, guessing.

"Indeed, it's possible." After a moment of thought, Scott Lang nodded emphatically.

He and Louis met in prison, and after their release, they stole from Hank Pym's house together, which is how Scott Lang became Ant-Man.

Louis also participated in the large-scale operation against Klaus.

Therefore, it's entirely possible that Louis will participate again in Scott Lang and Hank Pym's "Rescue Janet Operation."

After the first round of preliminary screening, all four candidates are still pending; none can be ruled out.

"Fine, whether intentional or unintentional, all four have the potential to leak information," Captain America said, summarizing. "Let's see who is more likely."

"Without a doubt, it's Louis!" Tony Stark said decisively.

"Both Hank Pym and Scott Lang have Ant-Man suits; they can shrink to the size of an ant at any time, making their chances of being exposed in this situation extremely slim."

"Furthermore, considering that Hank Pym and his daughter have been hiding outside for some time, they should have extensive experience dealing with this kind of situation."

"Therefore, considering all factors, I think they can be ruled out."

"As for that Ghost? The possibility of her leaking information is even smaller. This person is a Ghost, and a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, possessing rich counter-surveillance experience!"

"And what about Louis? He's just an ordinary person."

Under everyone's gaze, Tony Stark spoke confidently, making his judgment.

"That's right, if any of them really leaked Hank's whereabouts, the most likely culprit is indeed Louis."

  Scott Lang couldn't refute this.

The others present also didn't offer any objections.

This question was actually quite simple, no exaggeration to call it a primary school question.

"I remember everyone has finished answering this round of questions, right? It's my turn to answer, right?" Tony Stark said, glancing at everyone.

To be honest, Tony Stark wasn't particularly interested in the flight boots reward. He had completely mastered flight,

  even surpassed it.

He had mastered Ava's anti-gravity system.

Tony Stark didn't really believe the flight boots could be technologically advanced; after all, they looked like a low-speed flight device.

  Flight boots,

to put it bluntly, are just shoes that allow you to fly.

  Emphasis on shoes!

If the shoes are too fast, they're impossible to control.

However, the system wasn't Tony Stark's benefactor and couldn't always satisfy him.

"So… I choose D!" Tony Stark still gave his answer to the big screen.

  [Correct answer!]

The result was exactly as expected; the answer was indeed D.

[Congratulations to Tony Stark for winning a pair of flight boots!]

[Reward has been issued, please check!]

With a system notification, a pair of unremarkable black shoes appeared before Tony Stark.

Indeed, although the reward was called "flying boots," they weren't actually boots in the conventional sense, but rather a pair of shoes. "

These are flying boots?" Thor glanced at them and couldn't help but chuckle. "To be honest, I had higher expectations."

  These shoes were truly unremarkable.

"So, Mr. Stark, can you fly by wearing these shoes?" Peter Parker asked, unable to contain his curiosity.

"That's right, you can indeed fly by wearing these boots, but this flight is different from what you imagine,"

Tony Stark explained to Peter Parker. "These boots themselves can't fly, but they can alter gravity."

  "Alter gravity?"

Scott Lang was somewhat surprised, and also deeply speechless. Just a pair of shoes, yet they used such high technology?

"Isn't the principle behind these boots the same as Ava's? I remember Stark saying that the robot seemed to use this technology as well,"

  Strange interjected.

"So... these shoes are a complete waste of my time," Tony Stark shrugged.

Functionally, he didn't need the boots at all, and from a scientific perspective, they wouldn't bring him any new knowledge.

  Even using them wasn't convenient.

The shoes couldn't fly; they could only alter gravity, making you float. To actually fly, you had to "walk on air" with your own legs.

This wasn't an exaggeration, but a factual description. Without rapid leg movements, flight was impossible.

Moreover, based on his memories, Tony Stark felt he wouldn't be able to walk in them for long before falling from the sky due to exhaustion.

These shoes were simply unsuitable for him.

"A waste? Mr. Stark, I think these shoes are really cool!" Peter Parker said enthusiastically.

For a high school student, flying boots were indeed quite cool.

"Really?" Tony Stark said nonchalantly. "If you like them, then these shoes are yours."

"No, no, no, Mr. Stark!" Peter Parker waved his hands repeatedly. "I was just saying, but I can't keep taking things from everyone. Mr. Thor already gave me Baymax last time. Let's give these shoes to someone who needs them more."

"I can fly freely with my Flying Leap, so I don't need this thing." Thor shook his head first, indicating that he wasn't interested.

"I can Moonwalk, and I also have the Jade Manipulation technique, so I don't need these shoes either." Captain America followed suit, indicating that he didn't need them.

"I can fly on an ant, so... obviously I'm not the one who needs them the most." Scott Lang shrugged.

"Okay, I can swing around the city on a spider web, which can also be considered flying." Peter Parker immediately joined in.

After they finished speaking, everyone's eyes fell on Strange.

  Strange: "..."

Is this really necessary? Everyone present except him can fly!

"Although I can't fly now, you all know I will be able to in the future," Strange retorted, not to be outdone.

Well, the flight boots were indeed rejected.

However, after going around in circles, Strange finally accepted them. After all, he couldn't fly at this stage.

These boots were perfect for him.

[Answer complete, starting to play answer analysis!]

The system notification sounded, interrupting the discussion.

A corresponding video appeared on the big screen.

These flight boots came from *Jupiter Ascending*.
