Il Ji felt the warmth grasp his body. 'Yes!' He shouted internally.
He had just received the [Iron] skill [Hardness]. Now all he needed was [Toughness], [Ruggedness], [Robustness], and [Steadfastness].
Once combined with [Iron Skin], they could combine to form [Iron Body]. Then, he could level up [Iron Body] alongside his ranks as a beast tamer.
After he steadied himself, it was time to return the favor.
Using [Sacrifice], he gave the skill [Charge] to Lily.
Then, drinking an entire gallon of nutrient juice, he presented her with [Shoulder Strike]. This time, even after drinking the nutrient juice, he was still exhausted.
But this time, he only had three hours left. Luckily, though, Lily had an extra ability: [Satisfy].
It was an extremely useful [Silver] skill. As long as it was cast, the most basic, primitive functions of the target would be 'satisfied.'
However, the skill had one fatal flaw: It couldn't prevent damage from outside sources.
This made the skill mostly pointless; however, that being the only major flaw was Il Ji's gain.
"Lily, stay in that position for the next few hours and cast [Satisfy] on me."
Il Ji took some extra nutrient juice. Then, assuming the same position as the beautiful beast, Il Ji mentally gave the order. 'Sacrifice!'
[Counter Pose] was sent over.
Three hours later, a suave man walked inside the training room, only to find a man half-dead and in need of nutrients.
"Il Ji! Bro! What happened?!"
He hurriedly scrambled to the man's side, only to see some words hastily scribbled on a letter on the floor.
"Hey, Sebastian. I've added the prerequisite skills, [Charge], [Shoulder Strike], and [Counter Pose] to Lily's retinue. The only thing left is to combine the three stars into the skill [Counter Bash]."
"This skill is the most useful [Iron] skill when it comes to a skill combo with [Throw Berserk Aura], and the damage comes from the level of defense instead of the beasts' attack power. It is perfectly suited."
"However, in my hurry, I had to leave her casting [Satisfy] whilst adding the final skill. Each skill I add takes a lot out of me due to my inherent Talent, but in return my talent for teaching is pushed up over tenfold."
'This guy…' Sebastian muttered. When they were in high school, Il Ji had jumped a guy trying to steal some stuff from his mansion. He had only chalked it up to Il Ji needing more money at the time and had dismissed it.
Sebastian only realized much later that the supposed 'friend' had been stealing the only thing that Sebastian had left of his Great Grandmother.
After that party, Il Ji had never come back to his house, nor did Sebastian have the courage to find him. However, it enlightened Sebastian to the nature of his friends.
Once he found out that it had been a targeted plan, Sebastian made several changes. He stopped throwing parties. He dropped all of the friends he couldn't trust, which ended up being all of them.
Then, he dropped out of their high school and finished all his courses online. Instead of going to a university, the normal track for family prodigies, he began to study his family's business.
Quickly rising through the ranks, within less than three years from the bottom his uncle had stepped down and he was the newly crowned CEO.
The only missing thing? Friends he could count on.
Muttering to himself, Sebastian left the two alone and walked over to a button on the wall. Pressing it firmly, he said, "Hello, I need healers in the Training Room."
Unfortunately, he still needed a healing beast himself. He was also hoping that he could add some extra healing skills to Lily's retinue down the line as well.
Pocketing the note, he gave an additional order to the staff. "Bring me my great-grandmother's watch as well, please."
As he waited for the fallen Il Ji to revive, Sebastian wondered: 'Is Il Ji worthy of my friendship?'
As the mansion's staff summoned the healer beasts to save the life of Il Ji, Sebastian nearly facepalmed himself a hundred times over. 'If this isn't recklessness, just what is?!?!"
