The wind blew by, the area they stood in was beautiful. Flowers flowed with the wind. But the atmosphere itself was… bittersweet.
Grandmaster faced Liu ErLong, but his eyes didn't meet hers.
"Xiao Gang, it's been twenty years, hasn't it." Liu ErLong reached out to touch his cheek.
"You finaly came to see me."
But Grandmaster moved back. His eyes still looked towards the ground, not meeting her eyes.
"…" she paused, even after twenty years, Xiao Gang still couldn't remove the thorns in her heart.
"Sister ErLong, long time no see." Flender stepped forward after no one said anything for a few seconds.
"Boss Flender, it truly has been a long time." Liu ErLong wiped away her tears.
"Look at how old I have become, and yet you stayed the same even after so long"
"Who would have thought that the legendary Golden Iron Triangle would gather here today."
"Golden Iron Triangle?" Xiao Wu murmured.
"It was probably during our parents' time period when they wete active. I never heard of them either." MuBai answered.
Grandmaster turned away, he really tried to gather his courage to face her. But he couldn't. Those memories from the past were fresh in his memories.
Tang San chased after him. "Teacher!"
"Teacher, running away like this isn't very polite for the dean."
Grandmaster looked at Tang San.
"Back when I was young, after I was kicked out of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clan, I met Flender by chance. We became very good friends."
"And one day, we met ErLong. She was vibrant, and lively. Flender and I, soon fell in love with her."
"But I was weak, not suitable for someone as strong as ErLong. So I buried my feelings deep inside." Grandmaster looked up into the sky as he continued to tell Tang San about the past.
"Flender confessed to her, but the person she fell in love with was… me. We loved each other, a lot. We were inseparable. But all happy things will come to an end."
"She showed me a heirloom that her father left behind. And that heirloom… was only given to the main family of the Blue Tyrant Dragon clan. She was… my own cousin."
"I ran away, like a coward. I couldn't face the truth. Had it not been for Flender, I might have never met you."
Grandmaster finished recounting his story with Flender and ErLong.
Tang San couldn't do anything other than look at his teacher in sorrow.
"Teacher…"
"She and I have no hope together, that's the truth. All I can do is hope for her happin-"
"Do you really think that leaving me will bring me happiness?" ErLong emerged from around the corner. She had been listenjng the entire time. Tears were once agan streaming down her face.
"It's been twenty years, Xiao Gang. Even if we don't end up together, we can still be companions."
Grandmaster sat down quietly. He was really hopeless sometimes.
Tang San walked away "Love… it really can affect anyone."
Whirl
The grass below him swirled in circle, it suddenly began to wilt and die out.
"Are you Tang San?" Du GuBo had suddenly appeared.
"Xiao San!" The noise had attracted everyone's attention. But when they got there, he was gone. All that was left was lingering soul power and dead grass on the floor.
Tang San stirred, when he opened one of his eyes slowly,
"If you eokr up already, then stop the act." Poison surged forward onto Tang San.
He got up and pushed against the ground, jumping away from the poison.
"Poison Douluo!"
"So, was it you, who broke my granddaughter's third soul skill." Du GuBo questioned.
"Tell me how you did it." Du GuBo death stared him.
"Alcohol was all it took." Tang San tried to be vague and respectful.
"Don't try and bullshit with me." Du GuBo flicked his finger, sending Tang San crashing into the wall.
Crack, Thump
"Last chance , brat"
"Tch, your poison is weak. That'd why alcochol works against it."
"You really are a fool." Du GuBo summoned snakes, they slithered over to Tang San. Wrapping around him and biting him repeatedly.
"Is this poison weak? Do you like it?!" He went all this way to kidnap this kid, and it yielded nothing.
"Truly good! Good enough that you yourself are poisoned by it."
"!" Du GuBo sent him into the wall again.
"I dare you to say that again, brat."
"You're poisoned! The only thing you are good at is not dying to it!"
Du GuBo couldn't contain his rage. He fired a beam of poison.
Shing
Tang San released his eight spider lances, but they shattered immediately. Not a chance was given.
Thump
Tang San's head hit the ground hard, he had passed out again.
"Brother San, please you have to wake up." Xiao Wu's voice echoed in his head.
"Xiao Wu… where…" his head hurt immensely. Like a hammer was hitting it constantly.
"Brother San, you promised me."
"What, what promise."
"You promised you would not leave me by myself!!" Her voice suddenly became very loud. Scaring him to open his eyes wide.
"AHHH!" He jumped up andstarted coughing. The pain in his body returned.
"It really is an external spirit bone. No wonder you didn't die." Du GuBo held a shattered fragment of the eight spider lances, observing it before flicking it away.
"If you kill me, then your granddaughter will die with me." Tang San threatened.
"Who do you think you are, to be able to say that?" Du GuBo kicked him in the chest.
"Come on then… krk, kill me. When you do, there will be no one in this world who can save your granddaughter and yourself."
Du GuBo grabbed him by his collar and disappeared from the cave they were in.
Tang San fell on the ground harshly.
"This is where you'll be staying. If you can cure us. Then I'll not only spare you, but do three things for you."
Tang San smirked, he survived. But the moment he truly observed his surroundings, he realised, the amount of treasured herbs in here.
"This is… a treasure trove of herbs!"
The soul herbs were everywhere, fully matured.
