Aralyn's POV
Elyra, in her state of shock, responded to me. "I would really like to understand why you're behaving this way, Aralyn," she said, her voice filled with confusion and frustration. "You're accusing me of pretending, but you won't even tell me what I supposedly did wrong. How is that fair?"
I stared at her in complete disbelief. The more she spoke, the harder it became to understand what was happening. I had expected many things when I confronted her. I expected excuses, I expected lies, and I expected her to eventually admit what she had done.
What I had not expected was for her to look genuinely confused. Elyra honestly looked like she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about, and that only made me angrier. How could someone be this good at pretending?
