By the time Jin climbed back up onto the roof, Kyung-min had already sat down on the edge, Byung-ho was pacing, and Yerin was standing very still with her arms folded, watching the street where the procession had disappeared.
"Well?" Byung-ho said, before Jin had even reached them.
"They're not the plaza church," Jin said.
Byung-ho let out a long breath and stopped pacing.
"Who are they, then?" Kyung-min asked.
"A group from outside the city. Some kind of church, but a different one." Jin sat down on an old air vent and rubbed the back of his neck. "They're going around looking for people who've lost their way. Offering food, shelter, a place to belong. They asked if we wanted to join."
"And you said no," Yerin said. It wasn't a question.
"I said no."
"What were they like?" Byung-ho asked.
Jin thought about it.
