Natsu was not having a great time fighting this new opponent. He called himself the Fire God Slayer and began attacking Natsu with Flames that he can't eat and was actually burning him up from the inside when he tried to eat it. Even though Natsu was able to battle him to a standstill till now, he knew he was just minutes away from being defeated right now.
'Damn it, I need to find a way to eat that flame' As Natsu began thinking, Igneel decided to give him a hand.
'You can only absorb those flames when your lungs strengthen themselves to absorb it. But right now, they are only able to absorb flames that are weaker than your dragon flame. You need to push them in order for it to work' Igneel said as he once again went silent.
Natsu knew Igneel won't speak again. As he had been doing this for the last few months. After giving some sort of advice, he disappears suddenly without even giving Natsu a chance to ask him any questions. So Natsu decided to think about the advice that Igneel gave.
Igneel smiled in the soul realm seeing that Natsu had emptied his entire magic from his body after listening to his advice.
Lucy was having a hard time fighting a celestial spirit who claimed to have freed himself from needing a master to appear in the real world. Capricorn was a formidable foe who seemed to summon humans who had disappeared a long time ago from the world.
He would have been a difficult opponent for Lucy if not for her mastering the breathing technique that evolved into celestial breathing. Right now, the breathing style helped her reduce the amount of magic required to summon celestial spirits and is also supporting her when she summons multiple spirits at the same time.
Plus, few months ago Karna had gifted her with a few celestial spells that helped Lucy realise that she had great affinity with any spells that is related to stars and celestial bodies.
So right now, instead of being thrashed like in cannon, Lucy was able to match Capricorn in battle with her getting more and more stronger by the second.
Plus, Meredy was connecting the emotions between the summons created by Capricorn and the grunts she was beating one by one, thereby severely hindering Capricorn's full capabilities in his battle.
"Lucy Kick!" Lucy shouted as she landed another hit on Capricorn's face, making the taboo spirit curse heavily in his mind.
'That's not even any special martial art, and an idiot like you is having too many openings when you use that move!!!'
Elfman and Evergreen were having a hard time battling the Grimoire heart member with the power to create anything with his imagination. But after some time, Lisanna, Juvia and Mira joined them, making the enemy have difficulty in facing multiple opponents at the same time. Even though he can create anything from his imagination, he is still limited by the amount of magical energy he has. Plus, he had to have a clear picture of the object or item he creates or else the magic will get dispersed. But he was having difficulty in focussing as he was being attacked from multiple places from different types of magic.
Azuma was fighting Erza while Makarov looked over their match. Makarov realising the danger posed by Azuma's magic if he ever connects with the Tenrou tree. So decided to guard the tree while Erza fought with a wizard that can help her climb to new heights when it comes to battle.
Gajeel, Levy, Lily and Wendy were dealing with the grunts of Grimoire heart who were not strong compared to the other members of the dark guild. But their magic was tricky enough that it was giving them a big headache to beat them down easily.
Bickslow and Freed were going around the island ambushing and taking down all the soldiers of the dark guild. Their aim was to expel all of them out of the island and then lend a helping hand to all the other members who were fighting the core members of Grimoire heart.
While this was happening, a few storm clouds were moving towards the island while emitting golden lightning.
Cana was having a deathmatch with Bluenote after Bluenote realised that he was dealing with a strong member of the Fairy Tail guild. Seeing that she had refused to give him the location of Mavis Vermillion's grave, he decided to dismember her limbs before asking again. But Cana did not make it easy for him to fight her.
If he tried to go long range, she used her card magic to send variety of elemental attacks with high level intensity towards him. If he tries to battle her in a close combat, her barrier created by crush magic easily injures him with a single touch and one time, when he decided to go all in to strike her heart, a golden armour appeared that protected her from his attack completely.
But Cana did not miss that opportunity and managed to make one of his arms useless by attacking him with a rasengan.
Doranbolt was actually getting terrified by the carnage he was witnessing. He had thought that the rune knights had the full capability to destroy fairy tail after he finds something to help the council disband it. But seeing clearly now, he realised he was wrong. So wrong in fact that he wished to go back in time and beat his past self for having the idea to infiltrate this guild.
Grimoire heart, a dark guild that even the council is afraid to face is being taken down by a guild that did not even have a quarter of its entire members present here. From what he was able to understand, the Fairy Tail guild had not expected this attack, but they still were able to deal with it without many problems.
"Lahar, we were wrong, we cannot go against this guild at all costs" he muttered to himself as he sensed the presence of the council ship coming towards the island from a distance.
