When Hades heard from Azuma about Karna's declaration. He laughed out loud.
"Excellent, that is how a fairy is supposed to act. Then there is no need to wait, send everyone out Azuma" Hades ordered with a smile.
"But master, what about the mole. We need to deal with the mole that revealed all the guild secrets to him" Azuma said while looking around.
"That's where you are short sighted Azuma. It does not matter whether we have a mole or not. After we win today's battle. It won't matter anymore" Hades said as he got up and the moment he did, he released the aura he was holding inside him.
A few miles away, Karna was waiting for the attack. The moment he sensed the density of the aura that Hades released, he smiled.
'Guess it wasn't going to be that easy' he thought as he can see the amount of energy released by Hades right now.
And with his senses, he was able to see that the ship did not contain any sort of heart to supply him with infinite ethernano.
'So much for the easy way' he thought as he contacted the people who are currently taking the S class trials.
"To every Fairy Tail member on the island, we are currently being infiltrated by enemies. So, I hereby declare the S class trials to be cancelled now" Karna declared.
"What do you mean, I was just about to win" Natsu whined while shouting.
"But didn't you get plastered to the wall by Cana" Happy quipped from the side, immediately shutting him up.
"Alright now, I'm going to give you locations on the places where your opponents are supposed to appear. Make sure to beat them up and if I am sensing right, it won't be easy for you guys. As for the rest of the people who did not get a specific opponent, make sure to deal with the soldiers who are infiltrating the island.
They might be weak, but they are in the thousands" Karna said as he sensed the presence of a small army that infiltrated the island.
"So, make sure to give them a special welcome from the Fairy Tail guild" Karna said as he cut off the communication.
He then sensed a few really strong auras exit the ship together.
Karna vanished and reappeared right in front of the entire group. They immediately got on their guard, but they were still too slow by Karna's standards.
He had made sure to put the Flying thunder god mark all around the island a few days ago when he was preparing for the exam. So right now, he can use movements akin to teleportation all around the island.
Before the wizards could attack him, he immediately used dispel on them, shattering the magic that they were preparing to use. He then teleported them to each corner of the island where they will meet their respective enemies.
He then spread his senses to check one more time to see whether the heart was hidden somewhere in the ship. But the glowing window that appeared in front of him made him realise that his hope was gone.
[Main Story Mission Tenrou Island arc.
Because of the skills shown by host, Hades had decided to eliminate the only weakness he had, the abyssal heart situated away from his body. Currently the heart and Hades is one and the same.

Karna nodded at the explanation given by the system. Ever since he knew about the system's true design and capabilities, the system has now decided to directly be honest towards him when it comes to the matter of rewards.
Right now, Karna had no need of new abilities. The abilities he already has is more than enough for him to adapt to any situation. Plus, the only thing he needs to do right now, is to grow stronger by battling opponents that can push him to use his entire ability in a fight.
Hades is one such opponent as his dark magic can even hold back Karna's death element. Which is one of his trump cards when facing an enemy. plus, Hades is smart enough to create countermeasures for his other abilities as well.
But Karna was not discouraged by this at all. Basically to this day, He had never met an opponent who was able to make him go full force against them. Even while fighting Zero and the sin demons, Karna had kept most of his powers in check so that he can battle them to increase his other powers. But right now, he has no need to do it at all.
While doing this, he was able to sense the battles happening all throughout the island right now. Natsu was battling the god slayer face to face. But even though Natsu was unable to stop the god slayer from eating his flames, his physical skills were strong enough for him to hold him back. He was also able to see Cana fighting against Bluenote while using her crush magic to create a rasengan type barrier around herself that negated the gravity magic that Bluenote tried to attack her with.
The other wizards were also undergoing battles with enemies that kept on pushing their powers to their limits.
Sensing everything was going as he had planned; he began walking towards the inner hallway of the Grimoire Heart battle ship.
He can sense master Makarov near the Tenrou tree protecting it from being taken out by Azuma. That means Karna does not have to worry about anything but the battle in front of him.
As Karna entered, he saw Hades looking at him while floating a bit from the ground.
For a moment there was pin drop silence when both of them looked at each other. There were many things that both of them want to say to each other, but they also knew that the time for discussion was already over.
Now the strongest will decide the end.
