"Alright, alright, enough," Minato said, stopping the trio from fighting each other. "The three of you still have a long way to go as far as I'm concerned." Minato then suddenly grabs Mito and Yayoi and slings them by his shoulder like a sack, while Kushina does the same thing with Menma.
The kids try to protest, but soon the family laugh together while they slowly make their way inside the house.
A figure watched this scene unfold from his bedroom. Staring at them with emotionless eyes gives anyone who sees it chills in their spines.
He had white hair and bright blue eyes and was wearing simple dark sunglasses. This is Naruto, the eldest of the Uzumaki Namikaze children.
One might ask, why didn't Naruto train with his family? The answer is very simple: he never does anything with his family.
As far as Naruto remembers, he has always been forgotten and ignored throughout their family. Not only was he forgotten and ignored by his family, but also by Minato and Kushina's acquaintances as well.
Even the villagers ignore his existence, and even if there is someone who doesn't ignore him, they aren't really a good thing, as they look at him with eyes full of hatred.
In fact, when they all turn 3 years old, Minato and Kushina explain to him that they are going to focus first on teaching the other three to control the powers they possess.
Naruto knows what they are talking about, as he can see the powers hidden within the three children. He also knows the fact that the soul of the Nine-Tailed Fox was sealed within him, unlike his siblings.
What he learned wasn't due to Minato and Kushina teaching him but his own discovery.
Naruto didn't complain; in his eyes, Minato, Kushina, and the three children were strangers to him.
Naruto would rather be left alone to his own discretion than spend his time together with them. In Naruto's opinion, it is rather tiresome.
Naruto then returns his gaze back to the book he is currently holding with his two tiny hands. Reading is something that greatly interests Naruto, and it is also why he would rather be left alone so he can spend his time reading.
The book in his hand is all about the seals, and he has already finished reading the beginner parts, and the one he was holding is about the advanced knowledge related to the sealing arts.
As for where Naruto gained this book, it was in Minato's office room, which had a pretty lackluster security in Naruto's opinion. In fact, aside from the books about sealing arts, Naruto stole many books and scrolls that contained ninjas' techniques, such as the Shadow Clone Technique, the Summoning Technique, and many more.
Naruto opened the book and absorbed the information on sealing arts like a sponge, soaking it all in as it filled his mind.
While reading the book, Naruto heard the laughter on the first floor, which made him frown in annoyance.
'Noisy,' Naruto thought to himself while closing the book and starting to pack up some books, and he left this place for the time being.
He didn't want to leave through the door; instead, he opened the window and used it as his exit and searched for a quiet place to enjoy his reading.
Naruto walks through the busy streets of the villages while some villagers ignore his existence and see him as another kid; some of them were talking badly about him while not even bothering to hide the hatred in their eyes.
"There he is."
"Ugh, just look at him."
"Disgrace towards his family"
"Why did the 4th allow us to let this demon live?"
"Demon"
"Murderer"
Some even had the intent to kill Naruto but quickly suppressed it, and this has all been heard and seen by Naruto, but he ignores it as if it were nothing but a mosquito buzzing around him.
Naruto continued what he was doing and slowly made his way towards the forest—a secluded part of the forest, to be exact. This is the usual place he hangs around when he is searching for peace.
After arriving at this place, Naruto selected a random tree to sit and leaned his back on the tree. He slowly opened the books about the Sealing Art and resumed reading.
He reads the books he carries until the sun slowly falls on the horizon and the dark taints the sky with stars.
Naruto didn't stop reading the book he was currently holding despite the darkness in the forest. In his eyes darkness and brightness might as well be the same thing.
Naruto continues to slowly flip the pages of the book as if he didn't notice the storm that is approaching.
Above Naruto, in one of the top branches of the tree, something moved—it was silent, fluid, and like the shadow of a predator. When the moonlight hits this figure through the gap of the leaves, if one manages to see it, their expression surely transforms into disgust.
A grotesque figure of a spider hung in spider silk. Aside from the creepy eight eyes of the spiders, the most disgusting thing one could see in this being was the various faces that had the same horror expression on its abdomen.
Each of the faces in the abdomen had their own pair of eyes. This is probably the being that represents the fear of Trypophobia and Ommetaphobia.
This spider slowly lowers itself. Its main eight eyes are staring at Naruto without a pause; any bystanders who see it will immediately tell what this being is planning.
The moment the spider manages to get close to Naruto, it slowly repositions its eight sharp legs to the head of Naruto, intending to kill the latter instantly.
The spider quickly moved its legs at terrifying speed, but out of nowhere the sharp legs suddenly halted a few centimeters from Naruto's head.
Naruto slowly tilted his head upwards and stared at the spider's eight eyes. Naruto's eyes were emotionless and blank, which gives anyone chills deep within their bones.
"What an idiot," Naruto muttered.
Suddenly the spiders were cut into pieces, and blood started to rain before slowly disappearing alongside the spiders.
For Naruto it wasn't the first time he saw such a hideous creature. In fact, he saw them so often that their disgusting form didn't bother him anymore.
The first time he saw them, he was greatly surprised, to say the least, since from his observation it was as if they didn't exist in other people's eyes.
What was even more shocking for Naruto was the energy within this being. It wasn't the chakra but something else. Naruto didn't know the name of this energy, but he felt he understood the essence of it for some reason.
This energy wasn't unique to this being; in fact, many people possess it in various amounts, even civilians, but in his eyes, they are unable to control it, and it constantly leaks out.
This discovery really interests Naruto since he discovers that this energy only leaks out by humans, unlike chakra, where even animals and trees have chakra.
He also discovers that he can control this unknown energy, and the one thing that greatly interests him about this unknown energy is that it is incredibly corrosive, to say the least.
When testing the unknown energy on the unsuspecting people, they show signs of being sick and, in the worst case, almost dying. They only survive thanks to him stopping his experiments.
It wasn't because of mercy, but because Naruto wanted to know if ninja show a similar reaction to the unknown energy, which they do.
Though some of the test subjects show some signs of resistance to the unknown energy, the common thing Naruto found about these people who had resistance is due to the fact that they also hold some larger amount of unknown energy within them.
But like everyone else he saw, they were also unable to control the energy and let it leak out in their body.
Naruto also found out that while testing this energy, he had an incredible amount of it, but he didn't know if this was a normal thing since he only did his experiments just a month or so ago.
It wasn't because Naruto wanted to find an answer about this energy but just to kill his boredom.
This experiment really benefits Naruto in an unexpected way since he was able to use some unique technique that he didn't know he could do.
From what he knows or subconsciously knows, he had three techniques within him and only knows their names, which are the Limitless, Shrine, and Ten Shadow.
He played with the Limitless and Shrine, but for Ten Shadows, he ignored it for a moment. He decides to play with Ten Shadow in the future after he knows everything about the two techniques, especially the Limitless, which is far more complex than Naruto realizes.
Naruto slowly closes the book in his hands and packs up everything before leaving the place.
