It wasn't long until the boys regrouped, thanks to the help of Adel and Koina pulling them all back in one spot. Solomon's grumbles and Stolas' stories would make up the sounds the children can hear under the sea of noise that was the citizens of Calibren. Harvard would listen close towards Stolas, trying to give his own story about the game he was playing, while scarfing down as many cookies as he could, alongside a few meals to his side. Applin, still in such a lovestruck daze, wouldn't notice the Biblical Sorcerer's glare, but would be signaled by Shady tapping her shoe, letting her break free and see him directly. "Oh! My bad! I didn't see you there! Is something wrong... er-"
"Solomon."
"Solomon? Oh that's a-"
The Biblical Sorcerer would snap his fingers to interrupt her as he'd get up close and personal. "Yeah, yeah, cut it. What are you REALLY doing here? How did you manage to find us? What kind of schemes are you cooking in that gothic head of yours??" His glare intensified as he was face to face with her, but Applin remained unfazed. Sure, she was surprised by how close he was, but she merely smiled as she'd sit upright.
"Well, if you must know..." Applin started, as she'd be quick to grab a knife and cut herself a slice of the many pies across the table, as well as a fork to help her eat it, and a few napkins to clean herself. "...My friend was telling me about a big party, and that was it! Of course, I got myself a bit lost, but a nice man was able to help me find my Darling after he told me the directions of Calibren!"
"AHA!! So you ARE sent by someone!! I knew it! Who sent yah!? What does he want with Harvard!? Is it a Demon!?"
"Nope!" Even with such quick and stern questions, Applin remained strong in her words. "It was actually some guy with trash for clothes! He had a cool crown though, wonder where he got it from..."
"Trash for clothes? Crown?" Solomon backtracked as he'd try to recollect who the person was. When he did, his eyes widened and looked around the table. Too many people were around, and sadly not enough to let him get a better examination of such details. "Where is he? Did he came with a woman as well?"
"Uh, uh, uh! Your turn to answer questions~! Why are you being so picky with me? Is it because I took my Darling first before you? There's no shame in-"
"I like GIRLS, Applin. Besides, you showing up here unannounced while only HE recognized you is suspicious activity."
"Hmph! You're jelly! Don't deny it!" Despite such a quip, she does realize it did felt a bit weird in showing up without any notice, especially with the word about a War going on in Omega's Circle. She should've probably gave them notice ahead of time to let them know someone familiar with one of the kids was coming, but she quickly brushed it off, her own pride surpassing such logic. "Besides, I just wanted to give my thanks to my Darling~! Don't you want to give thanks if someone saved your life?"
"Yeah, and its why I'm with them from the get-go."
"So why the animosity?"
"It's just..... GAH! How do I even explain this..." Solomon would be stumped on his words, trying to string such language, up until he'd hear something from behind him. A commotion, albeit small, as Zazel gets dragged away.
"GUYS!! HELP ME! THIS GIRL'S DRAGGING ME TO HELL AGAAAAAAAIN!!!" He'd scream, trying to reach out to his confused friends, as they'd look at each other.
"Sooooo, if I help, would that avert any suspicion?" Applin asked, puzzling the boys further, but Solomon was quick on answering.
"AND telling us all you know about the Circle. More info, the better."
"Uh, uh! That's two things! You'd have to-"
"When you get older, I'll help in assigning the wedding for you and Harvard." Immediately as Solomon said such words, Applin shuts herself up. The Card Magician would be shocked, his hands raised up to form a timeout, whilst Stolas tried to keep himself together as he'd see such fear. He was trying not to laugh so hard at seeing him try to keep it as reasonable as possible.
"You drove a hefty bargain, Solomon~. Alright, you have a deal! Make sure my Darling gets given every penny in our wedding~!"
"I will." Harvard would feel his jaw nearly falling on the floor, gesturing towards Stolas in trying to find a way to fix this, but the Avian mere raised his hands, wanting no part in this. His pleas fell on deaf ears as the Adults watched on, with Adel nearly trying not to laugh in seeing one of the kids repeat history.
"Damn, wish I had a girl who's like that." Koina mumbled, catching Adel by surprise with her preference.
"You want someone that clingy?" He'd ask.
"I mean its better than being alone half the time!"
"...Noted." The Snake would be quick on chowing down some thick ramen in the meanwhile, seeing all the varied meats available to add onto the delicacy. Koina would, however, be a tad concerned on how he was feasting like an animal, making such a mess all over himself, before passing him one of the available napkins so he can clean himself with it. His arm jutted out, snagging it like a viper, the indent of the serpent living within him disturbing Koina further. "Oh don't mind him. He's just as protective." He'd state, as he'd try to make sure he's properly tended to.
As they went about their meals, Koina can see off the corner of her eye the two Descendants making their way to Calibren. Puzzled, she'd have Adel look overhead, seeing the silhouettes far away. Curious, the two nodded towards one another as they'd get up, following them, trusting the children to not make a mess out of the feast. At the very least, it was to make sure to get to Zazel as he was trying to claw his way back into the group. It was the only reasonable decision to make, what with their new responsibility in protecting everyone during such a chaotic time.
