A shining example of a Kingdom: clean streets, guards watching every citizen, whether it be as simple as to cross the roads or to act as guides for the many shops and amenities they needed, balloons and decorations by the dozen, as the skywrite keeps scrying the names of the many heroes. Cheers and laughter were heard, from the adults in taste testing the different flavors of cake made for such celebrations, and the children in playing games and dancing with one another against the merry bands of strings and woodworks, an orchestra to elevate the fantastical day.
When Harvard and his friends arrived, "Oohs" and "Ahhs" were made, with the Card Magician finally regaining feeling in his legs again, as they'd explore every part of the city, much to the adult's dismay. Envy and Tsukiya would focus on themselves, whilst Adel and Koina were saddled with trying to find the children, watching them go one by one celebrating alongside with the people. Harvard would be seen trying to squeeze himself in a game of kickball, immediately elevating it from a simple festival game to a brutal but rewarding contest, the parents noticing and cheering their children on, as they'd get some refreshments. Applin made it no secret for the other kids about winning the game, teases and taunts to Harvard about a 'girlfriend', causing him to blush a crimson red, even more so when the Little Vampire affirmed their thoughts with a bright smile. Solomon and Shady would bond as they'd make their way to the rooftops, watching over the couples wishing on a massive fountain nearby, artists painting in their canvases at such a moment. The Biblical Sorcerer would follow suit, but would be immediately dragged down as soon as Shady saw a nearby fortune teller, excited to have his own future read, even if Solomon was at the shadow's mercy of such a pull.
Stolas would be helping out at a nearby archery, seeing a few families struggling with their aim, teaching them, remembering Ennio's methods and playing them out, almost as a tutor for the tiny ones. He was even given some small penchants of gold as a reward for his efforts, a big smile on his beak as he'd store them. Zazel would be keeping an eye out, as per his friend's request, but as he did, he'd notice a cacophony of squeals made from the massive crowd against the main wonder: The Castle askew of the Mountainside. Six people were there, waving and walking across a massive red carpet: Two rabbits, anthropomorphic, one white and one brown, both with tattered suits with red hearts on their sides. A large, round knight with two glaives imprinted on their gauntlets, being quickly broken off to two smaller individuals, a glaive on each hand, as if they were attachable. A Mouse woman, the smallest of the group, with garbs around her as if she was a ninja, a teapot-like machine gun strapped to her side, as well as two jewels that are supposed to act as her 'eyes.' Lastly, a young girl, no less than the children's age, with a simple blue dress, red shoes, and big bow to match her eyes, as if she was pulled straight out from a picture book. Each one of the members had a symbol etched in their clothing, a cat's head, with the rabbits having it on their weapons, a long sword's hilt and a quiver's side that holds her arrows, the double's glaives, the Mouse's ears, as if nibbled off from them, and the girls stockings, carrying a cute pattern strip of cats chasing after a ball of yarn.
It wasn't long until one of the guards make their speech. "Hear ye! Hear ye!! Today marks the 50th anniversary for the Seven Wonders! Give praise unto them! Give devotion alongside them! For they are our pride! For they are our joy! For they are the ones to ensure no matter how wicked or cruel of a world we live in, we take serenity in knowing they shall make those days better! Let the celebration COMMENCE!!!" Such a shout echoed across the town square, as they'd begin to dance and sing the very day away. As Zazel would be mesmerized by such a performance, a thought did came to his mind. They were dubbed as the Seven Wonders, but there seems to be at most six of them. Where was the Seventh? It wasn't long until his question was answered as someone would jump out from one of the planes, no doubt their leader of the group: A man with a hat for a parachute, a pattern across his tattered robes as if he was a living painting. The most notable, however, was his face. Three scars across his mouth vertically, as if he was stitched up, with his eyes adorning the cat's head, a half for each eye, as well as some scratches across his cheeks. The Demon can't help but ponder what happened to him to be so damaged, yet keeping up such a wide smile. Once he descended, the man was quick on pulling down his hat, letting it shrink down in size, as he'd be quick to pull out more hats, all in different shapes and sizes, acting as presents for everyone who was participating. As he gave them away, a quick glance was enough for Zazel to stumble a bit, being spotted almost immediately before he moved to the next group.
He didn't knew how to put it, but something was just as off with him as it was to Applin. When he was about to descend down, he'd be met face to face with the girl, eyes locked into one another, as she'd be quick on grabbing the demon and pulling him down. "Silly little kitty! What were you doing up there?" She'd question.
"KITTY!?" Zazel retorted, almost appalled at such a nickname, a visible red hue on his cheeks.
The girl laughed as she was careful in bringing him down. "A scruffy one too. We can't celebrate with that on you! I am Alice! Alice la Labra de Crawford. It is very nice to meet you, little kitty!" She'd be quick to lead the demon away into the castle, despite him stuttering his words as he tried to retort such claims. Who does this woman think she is, calling him scruffy?
