"Yo, old man! I heard you wanted to see me?" Kousuke said nonchalantly while strolling towards the All-Father like he owned the place. The latter seems to be inspecting the roots as he crouched to his knees, his wrinkly hand caress the ground with a pondering look on his bearded face. The Valkyries standing guard around him turned their attention towards him almost instinctively upon sensing his presence. Then when they saw the way he acted toward Odin, their hand quickly reach toward the sword near their waist. But before they could act on it, the old man speaks.
"Yes, I've indeed called for you." His voice sounds like a rusty creak, akin to an old door opening. Yet there was a hint of unease depth in his tone, making Odin looks like an ancient tree himself. Then he slowly stood up, his back straightened like an arrow. When he turned around, his right eye were covered in a golden eye-patch that fit perfectly to the curve of his facial structure. But it was his left eyes that seems to have seen everything there was to the world, no more secret could be hidden from him. The golden pupil appears profound, anywhere his gaze befall someone, it makes the ignorant wishes to submit themselves to the Knowledge God. This is the All-Father, Odin, God of Wisdom.
"Igarashi Kousuke, thank you for freeing some time in your busy schedule for this meeting. I've been meaning to met you since you returns from your Otherworld journey. But alas, fate keeps interfering and making things rather difficult for me. However, my patience finally paid off as you're right in front of me."
"...That's interesting, I guess as expected of the God who could predict the future. You're the first one to mention about my Otherworld journey, I honestly thought most Gods wouldn't know about it since no one seems to know anything." Kousuke muttered calmly, he wasn't surprised Odin would know about his sudden disappearance and returning. The elderly before him wasn't just an ordinary God of Wisdom after all, he also invented his own rune magic from the countless knowledge he had been bestowed from the World Tree. So if there's anyone who might know anything about his situation, then one of them is standing before him.
"That's because the summoning magic used weren't part of this world's mysticism, just like your Morgan's magic. There are part of that Otherworld's, including your very own 'gifts', as you might have already known." Odin said before sitting on a wooden chair that appears from the roots of Yggdrasil. It even made another chair for Kousuke and Tsubaki, which they both sat comfortably. It doesn't feels hard as one would expect from wood, in fact, the seat were as soft as cotton surprisingly.
"Yes, I realized that quite early on after returning. Otherworld's system seems quite versatile, yet still grounded with logic. Where as this one, it seems desire, or rather strong will can make the impossible possible." Kousuke muttered, recalling how his friend Issei defeated Riser Phenex after touching Rias's nipples. What was even more crazier, that happens while a lot of people, or rather devils in this case, are watching the whole thing. Including the Gremory family. "I wouldn't be able to accomplish as much as I did now if Otherworld's logic still applied here."
"In a way, you returning to Earth unlocked whatever limit imposed on your body," Odin explained, he too took a sip from his cup. The Valkyries slowly approaches and placed down a couple of cup on the wooden table that they got from somewhere, before filling it in with hot and colorless liquid. It smells like some kind of tea, so Kousuke took a bold sip and his eyes widened slightly.
The first sip was gentle, too gentle even, but then the flavor unfurled across his tongue. It wasn't merely pleasant; it was clean, layered with a quiet sweetness and a depth that felt impossibly ancient. The aroma lingered in his breath, fresh yet grounding, like standing beneath an endless canopy after rain.
"Good tea!" Kousuke couldn't help but voiced out his honest thought. Even Tsubaki accidentally let out an involuntary squeal, her face reddened from embarrassment. Odin nodded appreciatively, as it he expected such reactions from them ahead of time.
"This tea were brewed from Yggdrasil's leaves. It is very potent that a single sip is enough for a dull person to expanded their brain activities and become a genius overnight." Brynhildr stated coolly. Her eyes narrowed when she turned to Rossweisse standing behind Kousuke. The latter pretended she was just air despite the piercing gaze boring through her.
"Damn, so this magical tea can turn a retarded person to normal? So that means people would be less chronically online on the internet if every one of them took a sip each! I should save some for Issei as well." Kousuke muttered amusedly. Tsubaki chuckles at his words, a certain scene surfaced in her mind. It happened a few weeks ago, when the game just came out and some skeptical comments online turned into a war. It was all because he was gaslighting the skeptical user with countless bots siding with him. When the moderator of the site figured out he was botting, his account was immediately banned.
"Language." The Chief Valkyrie said with neutral expression. Kousuke didn't take her words to mind at all as he grinned.
"So, you're saying I became so damn amazing because my power got so fucking powerful since this world's physical laws is basically my bitch?" He said obnoxiously without moving his eyes away from the serious Brynhildr. He even mutter the curse words slightly louder than the rest of the words as if intentionally trying to get on her nerves. Her expression remained the same, but her clenching fists didn't escaped his hawk-like eyes, which showed she was only pretending that his words weren't effective on her.
"Hahaha! Azazel wasn't lying when he said you're as mischievous as me." Odin said with a hearty laugh. Then the one eyed God turned to Rossweisse, the latter flinched upon sensing his gaze. Her bad feelings grew stronger and it came true when the wise God opened his mouth.
"You disappointed me again, my child. You've got so many chances to flirt with Kousuke as his teacher, yet you couldn't even do such an easy thing. That sexy body is truly a waste on you." Odin said with a face of a disappointed father while shaking his head, but then, it turned into a cheeky smile. At the same time, his massive presence also vanished as the impression changed into that of a perverted old man.
"L-Lord Odin! Flirting with students is heavily frowned upon as a teacher in Japan! How could you expect me to do something... s-something that taboo!" Rossweisse protested with faint blushing on her cheeks. However, she discreetly glances at Kousuke and immediately looks away when she was caught staring by Tsubaki. The innocent valkyrie couldn't comprehend why she did something like that. Is it because she had heard rumors that he had even gone after a hot widow, more specifically, someone who is clearly much older than him? 'T-That can't be! I'm his teacher! I can't be having this indecent thoughts about him!'
