"Wow, that was indeed quick." Kousuke speaks after the beams of light quickly melted away into the surrounding around him. He couldn't even get a proper look of Earth as a planet before regaining his foothold on the ground. He then turned toward a man standing firmly with a beautiful sword stabbed between the slabs. It was a black skinned man with a unique set of eyes that allows him to peek into other realms as the guard protecting the bridge connects to Asgard. It was none other than Heimdall.
"So you're Heimdall? What a menacing eyes you got there man, it's cool though, wish my eyes are as cool as them," he addressed the latter casually. After separating from him, Tsubaki begins to wander around until she stopped in front of an open window. What reflected in her eyes were the countless glittering dots in the galaxy, it was the breath-taking beauty of space itself. It was unlike anything she had seen before, even in Underworld, she rarely ran into such an extraordinary sight as this.
"Igarashi Kousuke, you're quite remarkable individual. I have been observing you since Odin sent the Valkyrie next to you to watch over you. And you certainly keeps surprising me one after another. There's never a boring day, you truly live your life to the fullest." Heimdall muttered, his voice rang low yet there was a certain charm to it. His face remained in a perpetual state of calm, unlike Michael which sometimes comes off as indifference.
"Woah, that's the second time I've been complimented from a snooper. But unlike Morgan, I guess it's not surprising coming from you, that eyes is a cheat. If I had it, I would be peeking at what my girls were doing while laying on a couch." Kousuke replied indifferently. He wasn't embarrassed knowing someone have been watching him, he had nothing to hide after all. Though he have to admit being told something like that by a man feels rather disappointing, usually those lines came from a yandere character.
"Mm, I'm indeed blessed but at the same time, it's not necessarily a good thing." Heimdall said with a mysterious tone. He didn't have this innate gift as powerful as it is now in the beginning, he trained and developed them to get this far. All for the sake of allowing him to better guard Asgard from realm invaders. Odin might have been a major deterrent to them with his mighty strength as the All-Father, but there are still people out there who were foolish enough to believes they can challenge the God of Wisdom.
"I see, it must be difficult having to watch countless realms by yourself. Don't worry, I'll file a complain to that old man in your place when I meet soon." Kousuke muttered with a thumbs up. By this point, the marvel of the galaxy is already fading to a certain extent, at least Tsubaki managed to snap a couple of pictures before returning to his side.
"I'm just fulfilling my duty, the hardship were just part of my life. There's nothing for me to complain about, in fact, I am rather grateful to the All-Father for bestowing me with such fitting job." Heimdall stated coolly before looking up, his eyes begins to glow—a clear-cut sign that he went back to his job after entertaining him for a bit. 'What a serious and loyal guard, my first impression of Norse is so much better than Greek already.'
"You're rather casual with everyone huh?" Rossweisse said while they walked on the light bridge, it was quite long so Kousuke have all the time to take some good shots with his girlfriend. There shouldn't be any wifi in Asgard, but he has something like a portable wifi on him, thus making it possible for their phone to access to the internet. This means that he could share the pictures he took to the various group chat he was in, that includes Underworld Satans group chat as well for some reasons.
He was invited there by Ajuka, instead of Sirzechs or the eccentric magical girl, Serafall. It happens right after they met to discuss about his capsule, it was quite an enjoyable talk that last for hours. His questions seemed endless—just as he understands one thing, the green haired Satan asked two more. But it helped broadening his views a little more, and that Satan even found a couple of loopholes that he managed to patch before the release day.
Before long, they finally entered the mythical city of Asgard. They immediately saw some Asgardians passing by, most of them were treated like ordinary people on Earth, or midgard in this case. However, Kousuke could tell immediately that their strength are more than what they showed. They might not be warriors like Valkyries, but they could definitely beat a group of thug by themselves quite easily.
Nonetheless, due to a certain Valkyrie walking by their side, Kousuke and Tsubaki could feels countless gazes on them—most of it are just curiosity. After all, it isn't rare to ran into Valkyrie on patrol but that didn't mean they are just someone normal Asgardians could talk to, especially those known for their skills. Rossweisse is one of them, a great Valkyrie that many admires yet strangely, she remained single up to this day.
"You're rather famous huh? But why are all of their gazes feels warm? Like they're looking at something pitiful and feels helple—"
"Alright! We're almost there! Be mindful with how you act towards the All-Father, my sisters will likely be there guarding him and they won't tolerate disrespect of any level." Rossweisse quickly cut him off before he could finish his words. Faint blush creeps on her face as she pretended not noticing the way the asgardians looks at her while speeding up her walking pace.
Her warning however weren't unfounded. Unlike her, the rest of the Valkyries were very serious with their duty. They might teased her like Odin, but that was usually while they weren't on the job. After all, they are the soldiers who fought for their God's cause. It's given that they wouldn't be happy if someone treats their God without proper respect.
But unlike ordinary people, Kousuke is unfortunately a huge rebel. The corner of his lips curled up the closer he gets to the legendary tree. It was insanely huge, as expected of World Tree, Yggdrasil. But most importantly, he can immediately senses a powerful divine energy so close to the tree. It was of course none other than the All-Father, Odin.
