The gray snow had stopped falling, and the snow on the ground had vanished. Still, the surroundings were shrouded in a hazy purple mist, making visibility poor.
Charles looked up at the hazy purple sky. I never thought I would get another chance to come up here again.
"So this is what the Earth's surface looks like," the Merfolk muttered, crouching on the ground with a cigarette dangling from his lips. "Captain, did you really used to live in a place like this? It feels even worse than down below."
"This place isn't my world—at least, not anymore." Charles crossed his arms, patiently waiting for the massive Airship to dock inside the Giant Pit Fortress.
Deep flicked his finger, sending the spent cigarette butt to the ground. "Captain, I think using these airships for exploration would be much faster."
